Oh my, I'm very sorry to hear of your situation. I see you have been going through this for a while, how do you maintain your sanity?

Yes, I was warned about Egypt. We keep telling ourselves we won't get the approval, that way we won't be as disappointed.

Thank you my dear and yes it's been a while now and hearing my husbands beautiful voice everyday hold me through all and the love of my parents. Best parents in the world, plus I have no other choice but to hang in there. I think your situation is more difficult than mine you also don't have any help but your dear Grandfather is bed ridden if not mistaken and that is much, much more difficult. I'm praying so hard you get your expedite but it's best to think the way you do. But I will rejoice if they have the compassion to honor their own policy Insha'Allah!

GUYSS! I just checked the website and I finally got N/A, I told myself for my own sanity not to check it till tomorrow but I did and it change well now i just have to call and that will be at 4am my time when they open!! hopefully its a freaking CASE COMPLETE!! yuju

My AOS changed from paid to NA, I will call at 7 am to confirm. Scan date sept 30^th or oct 2^nd depending on who you talked to at the hell hole at nvc.

Hi friends,

Sorry I have not been around as much lately. So busy with trying to sell the house. After 3 weeks on the market we have received and accepted an offer! We are not officially sold until 9th December, as the buyer is getting an independent building/pest inspection and has to get their finance cleared, but they are pre-approved so we should be good! We got offered more than we had anticipated ($2500 more than any 3 bedroom house in our area has sold for in the past 3 years!), which is wonderful because now we can use the extra money to ship our belongings and put towards flights. We have asked for a settlement date of 21st Jan (flights get cheaper, almost ½ price mid Jan). So fingers crossed, if everything works out, we should have our POE about 22nd Jan!

I cant believe I might actually be home in 8 weeks! And only 33 days of work left. Ha ha

I am sending all of my positive vibes to MSC for an earlier interview date, EOC for visa issue and Soloenta and SharksBelow for CC. Best of wishes to everyone else going through this process, no matter what stage you are at, I hope everyone gets through quickly!!!

Thank you Amanda for remembering us. Its such a good thing that things are moving on good for your family and am so glad for the sale of the house and soon you and your family can be finally home.

Guess what they emailed me this morning to say they have rescheduled my interview and then wrote down my current date and time for the new one. I have emailed them back but with Thanksgiving I will have to wait until Friday or Monday for an answer. If it is next Tuesday I will be frantically booking flights on Monday afternoon!

They have given me an earlier interview date but they wrote down my current one instead of the new one so I don't actually know when the new one is yet. With Thanksgiving tomorrow I will have to wait until Friday or Monday to hear back from them.

If it happens to be Tuesday because Sydney only interview on Tuesday's I will be scrambling to get a flight to get over there. I am all ready though.

I am truly grateful and humbled your and the rest of the gang's hahaaa generosity. Your CC is yours, I've never heard of one changing back to paid. When I was told I had my CC it never turned to N/A so your good to go.

You have no idea how deeply happy it makes me when one of ours finally can smell freedom in the air. I'll also be praying for you so the rest of your short journey from now on is a smooth and happy one.

Awww thank you precious your so sweet but shhhhhhhhhhhhhh don't tell anyone but when you see the Paid change to N/A you have your CC but I can understand you being cautious. Insha'Allah we will all be with our loved ones soon and no AP.

Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 27 why not call them right now and ask them over the phone and request they send you a confirmation e-mail? Hey we need to know girl don't leave us hanging like this I don't think I can take it. What you want me to die from the suspense?

Well it is official CC as of Nov 25. Scan date is Oct 2, confirmed it with the rep. and without a checklist.

Big thanks to all VJ members for their support, especially soloenta for keeping us all sane with her love and prayers, let us all pray she gets her CC sooner rather than later, and just remember ( What therefore God hath joined together, let no man put asunder.) we will all be with our loved ones NVC may delay us but they won’t stop us. Now to the interview thread.

To all of you who are waiting for CC I wish you the best of luck. And yes they are working on October.

I also asked if they started scheduling interviews and the answer was not yet.

Ok guys.....here's the issue:

.I received an email on what I thought was a false checklist for "original birth certificate and marriage license on 10/22/14.

.I called on that day and 3 TIMES AFTER THAT WITHIN 3 WEEKS....for details on the checklist.

.Reps kept telling me that they need original docs of marriage license and birth certificate which I sent in on 9/26/14.

.reps told me on 3 different occasions "oh I see we received mail on 9/26 that might not have been reviewed yet.

.Last monday I called and was told that I need an inextensa birth certificate and the notarization on the marriage licence needs to come from a different office.

What im confused abt is why no one could tell me this until as of last monday when I called. Now they keep saying that the standard time is 60 days to review. I would've gotten them exactly what they needed if a competent rep could've told me that. That was the entire reason for the last "now 5 calls"

Does anyone think a supervisor could change this 60 day BS?!?!?!
