56 days waiting.

They are REALLY taking the full 60 days ?

I was hoping it wasn't 60 days waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

So I'm confused with the Visa Journey FB page - do people actually update there? I have sent a request to add myself days ago and no one has even accepted me. Am I trying to add myself to the wrong page? The days are getting closer and I need as much data as possible to know when to call NVC!

Wish I could help you but don't know much about FB. I know you click follow and if they have to add you then maybe they aren't checking that folder. Do you know anyone that's a member of that page on FB here on VJ they could message them about you.

Love you Maria and you'll be getting your interview date soon I hope, so you think they age giving interview dates for Egypt in one or two months after Embassy receives your file? shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh going to try to gt her to post more shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh heheheheee

I will keep u posted my friend dont worry ? also per my research i noticed that the average time from CC til the actual interview is about 55 days so if Im right & nothing has changed recently at the Egypt embassy we should prob get our interview on January 12th or around that week. Hoping to get January interview next week ?

It never ceases to amaze me how incompetent these people are. Sometimes I think they do it on purpose because they can't be that stupid, then I think the Government must hire them because they're stupid. The jury is still out on this one.

I'm very sorry this has happened to you and I will be praying they fix it very soon and the rest of your journey will be a smooth one.

I hate how scripted some of these CSRs are. I asked if they reviewed my file and literally half a second after my question she said the 60 days thing and we havent reviewed the documents. She didnt even make the effort to check them, ugh. CSR was abby/abbie, has anyone spoken to her before? She wasnt very pleasing.

Hi everyone...I havent been very active on VJ...sometimes it is just very difficult to see the posts. Consulate returned our file to the US and asked them to review it on June 15 2014...we recieved the NOIR and responded...they received the evidence on November 4, 2014...305 pages of evidence...4 trips in 2 years...3 years of phone call, sms, skype and viber logs....now we are waiting for them to give us their answer..they say a maximum of 60 days but our lawyer and congressman says, "no it won't take that long." .I can only pray that God hears us and helps us...thanks for just listening.....sometimes we have to talk just to get everything off our chest.

Hehehee ty , Oh wonderful news i don't feel so bad for the long Checklist wait then OMG remember reading it was taking up to 9 months and longer for an interview. Oh my 55 days I thought it was more like 30 but that was just a dream. Still not as horribly bad as it used to be so we should be happy.

OH yesssssssssssss I imagine that all the time how wonderful that felt. just doing normal every day things would be such a joy. Let's all pray it will be soon. Just hate all the waiting, extra waiting someo of us have to do.

Yup same thing every time but the girl definately has her good and bad days. I have talked to her a few times and she is usually ok. They pretty much all seem lazy, some more than others.

OH my goodness, you didn't fill in your timeline so we have no idea what country the Embassy you interviewed is in or how long the process took. Could you please fill us in? Did you send evidence before or is this extra evidence they wanted?

Also don't blame you VJ can be very depressing.

I'm so very sorry this happened to you but know I'll be praying this get's fixed very soon.

I'm not in holiday mode but they are I'm sure. Not updated for me at least I'm sure it will be a while. You would think they would have a better way of keeping files so they can help those of us who have been waiting forever instead of using the excuse we can't go looking for it we get thousands in a day. Excuse after excuse they make me sick. See I'm not always positive.

Amen, I hope to God my dear friend but I fear my wait will be a long one. After CC I have just shy of another 60 days most likely to interview date. I'm trying to stay positive but it get's worse every day.

I love that emoticon!!!! haha...totally me on some days when I see that they take their sweet time. I really hope those with scan dates of 10/02 & 10/03 are approved by tomorrow so they can move on to the following week on Friday! Wishful thinking I know
