I knew it! I'm so very thrilled and excited for you and so happy your nightmare is over and now you can both start your life together without this hanging over your head.

Will you be home for Christmas or will you celebrate it in Spain?

Lo felicito de corazon!!!!!!!! m0113.gift9304.gifegyptian.gifegyptian.gifh0403.gifegyptian.gifegyptian.gift9304.gifm0113.gif

I will be home in California as soon as I can.

Today is my last day in my job here in Spain.

Exactly and the best thing to do is hand deliver it, I swear sometimes I think they do it on purpose just to frustrate people. But you'll see all will be well once they get the information in their hands. I'll be praying on my side for sure. t4582.gif

Thanks my dearest friend. Got an email from the embassy acknowleging the receipt of the contact sheet. I pray something positive is done ASAP. My patient and strength are all exhausted.

Visa approved

Everything went smoothly. The easiest experience ever!!!

I will receive my visa like in one week, maybe less.

I will submit a review within my timelimen later when I have more time.

Thank you so much to all vjers.

Special thanks to Saylin, dwheels, Soloenta and Austin Canada

Congratulations.

They gave me a contact sheet which requires the contact details of a friend, a neighbor and a relative. Which was sent to them November 6th but yesterday the embassy claim they don't have it in my file. I cried when i got that response from the embassy. 2weeks wasted for nothing.

Same thing happened to me. The hand delivered document they requested was ignored/lost for two weeks until I emailed a copy. They acted on that within a couple of days.

Hello Mobar,

Hey EOC... Thanks for asking. It will be a month on Saturday since we arrived, but it feels a lot longer with all that transpired since. Purse is certainly a lot lighter. Kids are really enjoying their schools. My 11-year old who never touched a violin before we came can now play basic tunes and she just loves it. School was really kind to her giving her free private lessons to catch up with her peers.

We just got our GCs earlier this week but no SS cards. DMV is backed up so we won't take our driving tests till Dec 8.

All in all, we're having a blast so far.

Going through multiple rounds of P90X really paid off that day. It was more traumatic to the suitcases themselves. One of them sadly kicked the bucket that day, but only after it made it valiantly home.

I highly recommend exercising while waiting, friends, to prepare for the sudden physical activities needed for moving and relocating logistics.

Data point: Got CC today (20 Nov) and our last scan date was 22 Sep - an extra 60 days of waiting as they raised a checklist to see a payslip for a job even though we're qualifying on assets alone. Still, at least it's over - we've been hanging with the NVC crowd since April.

They gave me a contact sheet which requires the contact details of a friend, a neighbor and a relative. Which was sent to them November 6th but yesterday the embassy claim they don't have it in my file. I cried when i got that response from the embassy. 2weeks wasted for nothing.

The embassy made me cry yesterday, they claim they didn't receive the contact sheet. My husband sent it to embassy and he copied me, i received mine but the embassy claim they didn't receive it. They asked us to resend it again, my husband resent it and i also send it again yesterday. At least they will get to see either of the two if not both of them.

Ok ok ok, what in the world is a contact sheet, and do we all need one????
