They gave me a contact sheet which requires the contact details of a friend, a neighbor and a relative. Which was sent to them November 6th but yesterday the embassy claim they don't have it in my file. I cried when i got that response from the embassy. 2weeks wasted for nothing.

Totally unacceptable! :ranting: I can't believe how they're handling this issue! :protest:

You may want to call/email your friends and neighbors to see if they have received any emails/calls from the embassy (just to make sure if the embassy didn't mix up the info with someone else).

 Just don't do your Yoga while waiting they don't have a sense of humor. :D :dance::yes::dance:And you'll be just fine :pop: but still can't wait to hear your home at long last. Must feel so wonderful!!!!!

Lagos sounds like NVC :/ I think it's so bad how they are so heavy handed with the fraudsters that it inevitably affects genuine couples too. So heartbreaking :( *big hugs*. I hope the end is in sight.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Oh wow, have loads of fun enjoy your flight will be praying you have a safe one there and one back with your husband. So very excited for you my dear friend! Oh sweet heart I'm so very sorry what idiots, but try to stay calm all will be well. Is the Embassy close or fairly close to your husband? I would make an appointment and hand deliver it then ask for a receipt! There is no way they can deny it then. I'll be praying there is a quick solution to this madness. Love you sweetness. t5063.gifsmileys-praying-278449.gif

Providence!? :wow: I was thinking about applying for a job at Providence (not at a hospital, but the office in Seattle). :secret:

Totally unacceptable! :ranting: I can't believe how they're handling this issue! :protest:

You may want to call/email your friends and neighbors to see if they have received any emails/calls from the embassy (just to make sure if the embassy didn't mix up the info with someone else).

You mean you don't think they want to see me doing yoga at POE!?:rofl::rofl:

I was thinking about doing a headstand (while being inspected) to impress them at POE!:rofl::rofl:

Hahahahahaaaa umm you do know how many nut jobs they have here in the USA right? They don't want any extra and they wont understand your sense of humor and wit!

Lagos sounds like NVC :/ I think it's so bad how they are so heavy handed with the fraudsters that it inevitably affects genuine couples too. So heartbreaking :( *big hugs*. I hope the end is in sight.

So very true, the saying goes, the just pay for the sinners. :( SOB's they mess it up for the majority of the good one! kurby2.gifkurby2.gifkurby2.gifkurby2.gif

I was so devastated when we got the response from the embassy after asking for an update. Have asked the contacts and non of them have been contacted yet.

Lagos sounds like NVC :/ I think it's so bad how they are so heavy handed with the fraudsters that it inevitably affects genuine couples too. So heartbreaking :( *big hugs*. I hope the end is in sight.

Its so heartbreaking and sad been punished unjustly.

Oh wow, have loads of fun enjoy your flight will be praying you have a safe one there and one back with your husband. So very excited for you my dear friend! Why will you be at the hospital? work or pleasure? Hahahahaaaa ok my excuse is I haven't slept in a few days. All will go great but wont stop praying until you pass POE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love you girl! t5063.gif

OMGGGGGG! 127fs2361263.gifsmiley-happy093.gifsmiley-happy093.gif127fs2361263.gif HURRY UP FOR PETE'S SAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :clock:smileys-praying-742234.gif smileys-praying-931534.gif

We are waiting to hear updates today and if nothing is heard, i will hand carry it myself to them. There's no way they can deny that. Its just so frustrating and just when we think the journey is about to end then we are stuck at the embassy again.

Exactly and the best thing to do is hand deliver it, I swear sometimes I think they do it on purpose just to frustrate people. But you'll see all will be well once they get the information in their hands. I'll be praying on my side for sure. t4582.gif

I knew it! I'm so very thrilled and excited for you and so happy your nightmare is over and now you can both start your life together without this hanging over your head.

Will you be home for Christmas or will you celebrate it in Spain?
