Congrats everyone!!

I am still waiting, I though that our scanned date was sep 20 something thats what my hubby told me, just called the lawyer and nop is oct 2, no big deal just a couple of days so its been 50 days so far, hoping we can get a early january interview.

I have everything ready, lawyer sent me some papers I need to bring, copies, picturws, airplane tickets, I have been always obsessed with keeping all the little details. Its finally gonna pay off hahaha, I have so much proof, and a big wedding album and im bringing all because in Mexico they are meeannnnnn!!! Praying we all get case complete soon!!

I want to take my dog with me and I did some research so my dog just need tp have all the vaccinetions and ill be driving to the USA so no airplane its not that close but we are going to stop at my parents beach house for a little vacay after the crazy time.anyone with pet experience? The problem will be that my dog name is in spanish and my hubby cant pronunce it, jengibre-ginger!!

So today is my cheat day, I had a big mexican lunch and a bag of twix hahahaha back to diet tonight!!

The CBPs usually don't make a fuss about dogs. Just a suggestion: Make sure your dog has a collar on in case they send you to second inspection and they want you to exit the vehicle with the dog. It's much easier if you have the dog with a collar and a leash ready to go.

Imagine! haha ....we have a 10/23 scan date so we still have about a month to go before we hear anything. It's exciting to see though that they are slowly but surely getting into October dates already.

Just sucks that they are sooooo slow today!

I'll be on the lookout for your CC and interview as well as your review of the consulate...it'll give me an idea of what to expect once I have a CC

God I hope it stays at normal, never heard from Koko again so had nothing to guide me since not many here with pending Egyptian interviews. I'll be praying hard you get a December interview, hey one can dream hahahaa so happy for you and wow no checklist that was my downfall, not knowing I needed my parents marriage certificate, oh well nothing can be done now. Thank you, I'll look forward to your updated and finally knowing what to expect. Love you girl!

Try now and again after they get your medical results. They're usually more accommodating when they know they have all documents in.

Wonderful! They seem to be moving on well into October. Toughest wait is over... now the lesser challenges, but do stay on top of things all the way through.

It took 9 days, but my passport didn't get lost!

I just paid $165 (Immigrant Fee) and will be at POE (US-Canada Border in Blaine, WA) tomorrow!

Hahahaaa your so cute you crack me up!!!!!!!!!!!!! No it's not bad at all and it should be any day now no worries, plus you have so much evidence . Not sure they can be any meaner than in Egypt so if nothing else I know exactly what you mean. They treat US citizens like trash in the Cairo Embassy.

Yes brought our cats with me from Egypt and I suggest you get a letter in English from your Vet saying your dog is healthy and a copy of his Vet history so they can't say no. I had a letter from our Vet in Cairo but the officer who was thank God very kid said he didn't need it he just wanted to look at them to see if they were healthy looking. But take it might not be the same for you. So happy your taking your little one with you, never heard of that name . OMG I love burritos and tacos did you have any? With tons of avocado and onions, cilantro OMG yummmmmmmmmmmmy!

Hahahahaa Pigletmonster eh hahahahaa to funny and I think it's well worth the money they are family not a vase hahahahahaaa. My husband and I adopted two Egyptian Mau rescues I would have left my luggage instead of them. Haifa is daddy's girl and Yasmin is mine hahaaa and I have two other rescues from the USA..

You have no idea how many people abandon their pets when they have to leave it's horrible.

Yes we are also taking our two boys, Elvis and Casper back to the US. They are Maltese Shitzhus and clearly rule the house. We are using Jet Pets. To have them both sent to New York is $3,700 but it is worth it to know they will arrive safely. Who are you using to send yours?

I was reading the other threat about aos checklst, I checked te form my lawyer sent and my part 6 question 13 is not really a question, the form is 1184ez something like that. Is a different form?

We got a few quotations, JetPets included, and they all seemed pretty similar price wise I just preferred the manner and speed of communication with DogTainers. I've used them before to transport Luuka by road interstate so I already trust them.
