I agree and I chalk it up to hardly sleeping in three day I shouldn't have posted it. :D :bonk::blink::bonk:

Hows your father doing sweet heart hope he's doing even better. t4582.gif

I'm going with wort case scenario since everything seems to be going that way so Dec 22/23 there about. t4582.gif But still praying for a miracle. Wish I could win the lotto to go visit my husband then I wouldn't care. hahaha.:dance::yes::dance:

So sorry about that but did they say he has his Visa but has to have the Passport fixed? If so all he has to do is have that fixed and take it back to the Embassy. God willing that's all he needs to do. t5063.gif

Solenta no he does not have his Visa he has been put in AP. hoping that by my emailing and getting senator involved we can get it fixed. just want him home. I miss him and I know you all know what that's like.

They will advice... but its your responsibility to make sure your full name appears on the passport... Most countries issue passport based on Birth Certificate...

dnp2014 his birth certificate doesn't have his middle name listed on it. I just pulled out the copy I have and no middle name. everything else has it but that. UGH. gotta love the government right.

Hey guys. Just to let you know I had my interview this morning and I was approved :D as soon as I left the consulate the status on ceac updated to AP so I hope it changes to Issued today or tomorrow.

Congratulations!!!!

yes every thing was filed with middle name because it asked for it.

I quite can’t get it… why he has no middle name in the birth certificate but all other civil documents have it ? .. You should have filed with no middle name because the VISA should match the name on the traveling document (Passport). It clearly states when completing DS-260 & DS-261 ..

well I guess I messed up then and not the passport office. I didn't see that when I was helping him fill out the forms.

ok so I just pulled out the file and the ds260 doesn't have his middle name on it, the birth certificate doesn't have his middle name on it, the police certificate doesn't have his name on it, AOS payment receipt doesn't have his name on it, the IV payment receipt does have his middle name on it, our marriage cert doesn't. the interview letter does. I am just so flabbergasted that this is happening. the ds230 asks for his middle name so we put it on there.

I understand but I have always read if they put you in AP they give you a paper stating the reason and instructions if not mistaken. So your husband should have been given something and for them to say don't call they just left you in limbo. How rude is that, I hope you get an answer soon so you can finish this last step. I'll be praying all goes well and end this uncertainty soon. t0803.gif

Solenta they did give him a letter but it does not specifically say why or give any instructions. I also just called the national passport office and was told that a middle name is not required on the passport it is an option but the passport must match what the picture id says. so now am going to call him again and waiting on the senators office to call me back and an email back from the embassy, thanks for being so nice and caring I really appreciate it.

Btw, when the document-intake guy brought my massive file out, the folder had my maiden name on it, and it was crossed out and had my real married name written beside it. So I guess they really did use the wrong name to begin with for some reason. I thought it was just my welcome email that was wrong :P good thing I asked them to change it even if it did delay my DS-261 being reviewed.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

How they got his middle name at the end of the process? ... How do they know he has a middle name if all your documents and submitted applications don't have middle name ?
