AOS Checklist scan date of 9/23

With an NA01 of November 13, 2013, we've been at this process just over a year. Hopefully we are down to the final stretch. I'm still a little bitter over our attorney screwing up the AOS and costing my wife and I another Christmas without her visa, but at this point I'm just happy to be moving passed the NVC. This process has worn us down. But I am headed down to Santo Domingo for a long 4 day Thanksgiving Day weekend and we are going to celebrate!!

Thanks to everyone here for their support and I am wishing everyone else a quick CC. Especially Soloenta and her incredibly positive attitude that made this extra 60 days bearable. I pray your CC is coming soon!

I've sent at least four emails to the Montreal Consulate. Nothing so far.

I just called them up and talked to someone. She told me it could take up to a MONTH!

I asked to talk to her supervisor, but she refused and hung up!

I HATE and HATE and HATE babysitting everyone (USCIS, NVC, and Consulate)!

There was another email hacking at the Sate Department... maybe they aren't able to respond to our unclassified emails right now.

The U.S. State Department disabled its entire unclassified email system on Friday in the face of a cyberattack, a senior official said.

There was another email hacking at the Sate Department... maybe they aren't able to respond to our unclassified emails right now.

Hi everyone

Just checking in and saying hello.

SharksBelow, as a fellow Aussie I can tell you that in my experience here NVC have sent the file quickly to the Consulate. Ours is in transit at the moment. As soon as you get the CC NVC will send you the interview letter and it has all the details on that you need. First thing will be to get your medical. I live in Adelaide and am off to Melbourne tomorrow for mine. I SO hope you don't get any checklists.

Soloenta, the days are ticking by. Days turn into weeks and before you know it you will have that CC. I am sure that at the moment it seems like it is never going to come but it will and we are all waiting with you.

First not that you need it but good luck on your Medical tomorrow I know all will go well with you and I'll be praying just in case.

Your right and thank you for reminding me I just have to wait a little longer. I'm mostly afraid of AP but will try to focus on that this in time will end, God willing. Thank you my dear friend. Love you girl!

I called & no update. Nvc Told me to wait & count 60days after oct 7th? i think i dont wanna call anymore & just wait for a miracle email to appear in my inbox. Praying for u & everyone waiting for cc.

Side question....do u think whatever immigration reform obama will announce this week affect us....once again....& delay us more? I hope not. They should finish with us that been in this horrible process for such a long time. ?

Oh sweet heart I know exactly how you feel and I don't call at all or check on the net, why even bother at this point, until I get closer. You will get yours before I get mine since my last scan date is Oct 22 and Insha'Allah sooner if they are speeding up.

I for one don't think it can affect us since we are at the end of our journey with immigration and so close to interview (God willing). I think I read that they will be put at the very end of the line as should be so I don't think anyone has to worry. I'll keep the rest of my opinions to myself for obvious reasons. Love you girl!

so hubby had his second interview this morning as the first one the systems were down at the embassy. We were denied as his passport doesn't have his middle name on it. How is that his fault. he has never had a passport before so how would he know that it had to have that. shouldn't whoever process the passport applications make sure its on there. Please everyone if your spouse/fiancé is immigrating to the USA make sure their passport has their full legal name on it.

Wow! So sorry! So after he fixes it do u just take it there ? How do u get new interview? Did they even ask him any other questions ?
