I'm confused by something. I've seen people say if it says "N/A" on your CEAC screen, it means your case is complete. But it said that before I even submitted AOS and Civil Documents. Do I need to call them or something? The last thing I got was confirmation about 2 weeks ago that they received all the documentation. I didnt think that mean the case was complete, but rather, they received them and it takes 60 days to review them.

It's when the "paid" part of it goes from "paid" to N/A that your case is most likely closed, not the other n/a next to paid.

Have you gotten your tracking number from the courier? Any idea where it is? I'm hoping we get ours back fast.

I don't even have a waybill number. It's supposed to show up on my usvisa-info.com profile, but it has not!

I bet it's still sitting on a desk at the consulate. The consulate folks may be as lazy as the NVC folks!

I was thinking you should call them tomorrow (Loomis, that is) as well, and find out where it's at....

I called Loomis last Thursday and Friday. You can bet I'm calling them tomorrow!

I've already sent an email to the Montreal Consulate saying my status changed to "Issued" last Wed and I don't understand why I don't even have a waybill number.

I really hate babysitting everyone (USCIS, NVC, and Montreal Consulate) until the end!

Thank you. I am on Skype if I'm not asleep--we are most fortunate in that we are only one timezone apart--and am at home and on Viber if I am out anywhere. The only thing I want right now is a hug! A real one.

Soloenta I saw on the other post that someone got a case complete with a sept 23rd scan date. Isn't your first scan date the end of sept? InshAllah praying for good news this week!

Hey sweet heart yes but had to send a new AOS and my parents marriage certificate so new scan date is Oct 22 . Thank you so much for the information still it looks like NVC is getting faster thank God.

I believe Soloenta sent her checklist document on Oct 10th so her scan date is probably around Oct 15th.

I'm still waiting for the visa! It's been 3 business days (6 calender days) since I got approved at the interview.

Some Canadians reported that they got their visa in 1-2 days.

I should have known that I haven't been that lucky in the immigration process.

I thought the nightmare was over when I got approved at the interview.

I really hope to get it this week since we're currently staying in Ramada Inn with our moving boxes!

Silly goose you'll get it on Monday I'm sure and your nightmare is over just hang in there for a couple more days at most. Oh and last scan date is Oct 22 you were close.

WOW approved in 122 days good for you, wish had been that lucky. You should be hearing I pray good news next month from the date you have on your Timeline. Good luck to you.

did you have to sign any aditional document (or they just took your fingerprint)? did you keep a copy of it when you finished your interview?

Well, I'll tell you, I think men are better about these things because they don't look at it as emotionally as we do. They are more logical and sure of themselves so I trust your husband hahahahaaa. We are just too emotional about everything and I'm know I'm right so NO checklist for you guys hehehee and thank you for your kind words .

You are so right. We cannot both freak out over this. He's very pragmatic about it all, which is a good thing.

I know my journey has not been that long, our NOA1 was March 4th, so in the grand scheme of things it hasn't been that long. But it feels like forever.

So, my case passed October 3, got shipped out - never landed in the NVC. It is now November 17th. Still no case number.

They told me to scan the approval letter and mail it in to NVCresearch 2 weeks ago - did that, still no case number.

8 weeks gone by since approval notice, yippee!

Solenta do you have a smart phone? if so you can download whatsapp its free for a year. I use it every day to talk with my husband as we don't get to Skype very often do the power issues they have in Ghana.

Viber is an app that lets u call, text, & video for free as long as u both have viber. We have viber but internet isnt that great un egypt but it helps whenever wifi is available. ?

Today is day 60 from when I sent IV & AOS together but still no news. When i called NVC last week they said they were reviewing my docs and to wait 60 days from my last scan date of 10/7 (i sent police check separate). Should I call NVC today again or wait out a few days? ?

In my case, I signed digitally (with a fingerprint) during my formal interview. This is different from the fingerprinting that preceeded the interview. And no, I was not given a copy, though I believe I could still download my DS-260 from ceac.

PS. For those who like to gauge post-POE timelines, our GCs (except for my youngest) were produced on Nov 14th and I should have them at my mailbox later today according to the USPS tracker. Requested SS cards never arrived. We'll probably drop by the SS office sometime this week. POE was Oct 22nd.
