You are just too sweet!

Are you saying I will not get a checklist because it's not that common? Or are you saying it because you are so sweet and genuine towards everyone?

Well, I'll tell you, I think men are better about these things because they don't look at it as emotionally as we do. They are more logical and sure of themselves so I trust your husband hahahahaaa. We are just too emotional about everything and I'm know I'm right so NO checklist for you guys hehehee and thank you for your kind words . t5063.gif

I know I'm a total newbie to the NVC process. I know that unlike many of you, I haven't been waiting at NVC for months and months. But.

This whole time, through the wait at USCIS, I kept telling myself 'just hang in there. NVC goes faster and once you get that NOA2, you'll have new things to do and actually doing things is going to help. You're okay.'

Got NOA2 on October 26. USCIS sent me an email that they had shipped our case to NVC on October 31st. I thought for sure that them telling me it was shipped, so quickly, meant I was going to have a long wait for them to receive my case. I've called them every second day this past week and here it is, 2 full weeks after they shipped it and 2.5 weeks after NOA2 and nope, nothing, they don't have it yet.

I just want them to have my stupid case already! I'm so tired of waiting and I know others have waited longer, but it's hard to appreciate that when I spent the first three years of our relationship with no recourse to EVER be with my then-girlfriend-now-wife because of the fact that same sex couples had no immigration rights to the US and she can't leave because of her job and course of studies. I feel like I've been waiting four years--since we met and waited to be able to actually get married because of her work schedule--not just six months.

Length of time means nothing where the heart is concerned one day can feel like a life time and with no hope I can only imagine even worse. Right now things seem to be improving and it hasn't been that long so I would say they have it just haven't scanned it in yet the SOB's. :D sorry. If you want you can call and ask a supervisor but I think they take way longer than what your wait is going to be. Anyone else have any ideas, am I in he ball park? I'll be praying things go smoothly for you both and that soon you will both be together. t5063.gif

Got done with chest X-ray and blood test today! :star: Medical appointment fixed for 20th dec. I hope it goes well iA :dancing:

:yes::dance:WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO one down two more to go until FREEDOMMMMMMMMM! Yeahhhhhh t5063.gif

you better reschedule your medical then! (guessing a typo :) )

Hahahaha yeah she gets a little excited poor baby but we love her anyway!     :rofl:t5063.gif

Not sure if you know but I'm a Respiratory Therapist and the best thing to do is drink as much clear liquids as possible and if it's cold in Oz try to cover your nose and mouth when your outside. If you have a steamer your going to want to use your inhaler first but when you take it inhale as deeply as you can the medication hold it as long as you can then purse lip exhale which is close your lips and force the air out giving the medication time to land on the tissues of the lung and work better and it goes deeper in the lungs also. Then use the steam for at least 15 to 30 or longer, wish you could get chest physio therapy that would clear you out pretty fast. Sorry if you already know this. Are you on antibiotics? I don't think they will exclude you due to Asthma since it's not communicable. :D There you go a penny's worth of my knowledge hahahahaaa. Hope you feel better very soon sweet heart. t5063.gif

Same here, but really, don't worry! Just be honest with the physician... I mean s/he will be able to hear it anyway ;) You won't fail your medical because of this. I had mine 3 weeks ago and everything turned out fine :)

You're so kind. I think you're right that the supervisor can't do much at this point. I just have to wait. I'm just so so so tired of waiting. We've spent years planning for being together and I'm so tired of planning. For a long time, we thought we'd have to wait until she finished her studies and got transferred to a university abroad, then I'd have to work my little tushie off to get a job wherever she transferred to or, possibly, she'd marry me from abroad and bring me that way. We've come up with many elaborate ways to get me to her over the years. Finally this is an option. I just can't wait anymore. Okay, I can, I have to, but I really hate the waiting. It feels so close.

Met in 2010 on a forum for a mutual interest. Became friends.

2011/2012: Decided we were a couple sometime in, but no possibility of being together due to being same sex couple.

June-September, 2013: Discussion about being together begins.

Your very close, look back at all you have been through then look ahead, your almost there but now is the time to be strong. Now is when it's almost unbearable. I often wonder why this is hahahaaaa you have struggled, waited, suffered for so long and right as it's about to end one feels like you just can't take one more step. The only thing keeping me together is talking to my husband on Skype and the days we can't because he has two jobs or the internet on his side isn't co-operating I get a sinking feeling. Then when I see him come Skype on or I get the phone signal to come to Skype, hahahaa you would think I was 13. So this is the time we have to remind each other that we are close and we have to be strong to make these couple of last steps to be with our loved ones and FREEDOM from this nightmare. I go to Mass tomorrow you will be on my list for my prayers. t4582.gif

Thank you. I am on Skype if I'm not asleep--we are most fortunate in that we are only one timezone apart--and am at home and on Viber if I am out anywhere. The only thing I want right now is a hug! A real one.

I believe Soloenta sent her checklist document on Oct 10th so her scan date is probably around Oct 15th. :star::star::star:

I'm still waiting for the visa! It's been 3 business days (6 calender days) since I got approved at the interview. :dead::dead::dead:

Some Canadians reported that they got their visa in 1-2 days. :wow::wow::wow:

I should have known that I haven't been that lucky in the immigration process.:oops::oops:

I thought the nightmare was over when I got approved at the interview. :bonk::bonk::bonk:

I really hope to get it this week since we're currently staying in Ramada Inn with our moving boxes!:rofl::rofl:

I'm confused by something. I've seen people say if it says "N/A" on your CEAC screen, it means your case is complete. But it said that before I even submitted AOS and Civil Documents. Do I need to call them or something? The last thing I got was confirmation about 2 weeks ago that they received all the documentation. I didnt think that mean the case was complete, but rather, they received them and it takes 60 days to review them.
