Called NVC & spoke with Rep: Max and he told me they've received all my documents and are currently under review but they go by the last scan date. ? i guess i have to wait moorreee ?

IV & AOS: Sept 18th

Scan date for police check: oct 7th (we got police check for lebanon late)

Yes we wait together. Imagine our husband's having the same interview date? How crazy would that be?! Lol ??

We'll go thru the process of whatever we need to do before they have their interviews ??

Your so sweet but I hope we get it soon the pain isn't any less for you my dear and yes we will do what ever it takes. . Don't stop praying we need all the help we can get. I'll even bet you get CC before me and if you do I'll love it and be as happy as if we had gotten CC.

OMG yes wouldn't that be something both at the interview together hahahaa would be great.

Thankyou soooo much everybody!! I love my whole VJ family. Ur posts just double my happiness at every crossed milestone! I m still in shock but finally when I recieved the email last night so now I guess I can believe it haha. Now trying to book my medical ASAP cuz I have really less time! Nervous about medical cuz of medical profession i look at so many patients everybody. Hopefully it will be fine :|

You are going to do fine. I got all my documents ready today for the medical next Wednesday. I am a bit nervous for no reason. Just so many steps yet that can go wrong!

I know what you mean but you will be just fine don't worry both you and MSC are going to pass your medical with flying color, we are just so used to worrying about every little thing we just can't help it right now. God bless you both my friends.

Guys!! I m in absolute and complete shock!!! Got our interview date and I still can't believe It!! Dec 8!!!!! I m Sooo happy and excited. I wasn't expecting anything before 20th dec!!! Now if inshAllah interview goes well I can spend New Years with husband. V excited ))) our cc was nov 4th!

"Hey folks, some lovely news this morning!!

As of yesterday, November 12th, NVC will no longer collect ORIGINAL CIVIL DOCUMENTS for the IV package. That is correct, you read that right. From now on, photocopies of the civil documents (birth, marriage, police, military, etc) will be accepted. Originals of those documents will be brought to the interview instead!

I encourage you all to read the update. For those that haven't sent your packages yet, time to make photocopies of the civil documents and put the originals in a safe place in time for the interview!!

Please note, this does NOT mean you can send photocopies of the AOS form. The form still has to be an original, with the original signature. As should the employment letter, with an original signature. The optional cover letters should be original as well. Besides that, everything else can be photocopies now.

I'm going to guess that this new change will reduce the amount of checklists stating a document isn't an original (when in most cases it is). Not to mention, the scrutiny of civil documents will be less (I'm guessing), thus speeding up the review process. So, good news everywhere "

ok so hoping one of you has heard of this or knows someone who has. my husbands interview was this morning. when he arrived everyone was informed that the systems were down and no answers would be given. he had his interview. the CO took his interview letter crossed out todays date, wrote open date on it and gave it back and asked him for his cell phone number. they didn't give him any other paper work except copies of our aos, iv and barcoded receipts. any ideas? I am just so upset to be left in limbo. its been 20 months since I have seen him and I miss him.
