IT'S HERE! :wow::wow::wow::wow::wow:

I'm flying to Montreal (from Vancouver, Canada) today since my interview is tomorrow!

It's crazy to think that I'm flying coast to coast (5 hours and 30 minutes) for a 10-minute interview!

I'll have to use my cell phone to check Visa Journey and Facebook since I won't have my laptop with me!

I don't even know how to insert images using my cell phone! :dead: That's no fun!

Some people have asked me, "Are you ready for the interview?"

Well, I'm more than ready since I've waited for 13 months! :content:

Actually, who would not be ready after 13 months?

Anyway, I have this to say! :star: Fingers crossed for myself!

I'll say some jokes during the interview if the CO is friendly and chatty (like me)!:lol::lol:

Hi alepenaflor

How are you doing my friend. Sounds like you are having a tough weekend. I know that I am on the other side of the world from you but know that I am here and happy to chat and try to make you feel better. I am not doing much better this end. Waiting for an interview date when the children thought they would be home for Christmas but it hasn't come yet. Hopefully this week.

Anyway, what is going on with you. I can't see your signature so where are you in the process at the moment. What are you waiting for right now.

Write back.

Hi msc13

My dear famous friend, yes hard weekend :( but obe day it wilk be over. We are waiting to get our cc, we got approved 8/21 started the process at nvc 9/17 and last scanned is 9/27 I called last week they said it was oct 2 but nope the mail says sept 27 so Sept 27 is. I can understand how draining this process can be. Even after case complete (for which I thank Allah in every prayer) we are still getting drained for an interview date. I think it's a never ending process and u r anxious till u actually hug ur spouse at the airport. But as u said it won't last forever and there has to be an end some day! Good luck :)

Thanks for your support samreen23, I am happy you have a cc you deserve it more than me, im pretty sure I wont get it before soloenta, I pray everyday for her to be out of here before me. You are right the whole anxiety will be done once we crossed to be with our love ones. We are blessed in a certain way right, our love can endure a lot of things. I am sure you and msc13 will get the date by Wed your will be december 22 and msc13 will be December 17. Keep it in mind.. God bless

Just checking the threads and saw that there is a mystery concerning my situation with the expedite refusal. Yal are both right Samreen and Solenta.

My mother is suffering from several illnesses and heart is failing . She has to take a drug that is actually toxic to the human body to keep her heart functioning . Her heart stops in her sleep and now during the day...her defibrillator is working over time to keep her alive .Shes had several strokes and can not speak now or walk unaided .As of yesterday she is now bedridden and her oxygen level will not stay up .She has drug induced Parkinson syndrome now because of the toxic Amiodarone medication. Her mind is going and she can pass at any time.

I have my own health concerns...heart and mobility related due to a botched knee replacement that resulted in Pulmonary Embolisms. I ended up in the hospital by myself stateside last June and had to come back to the Netherlands straight from the hospital to be with my husband.Ten hour flights are high risk for me and still I have done it .I used to carry emergency blood thinner shots with me on flights but cant get them here in Holland .

Why can I not qualify for expedite after I sent in documents proving my request??? I see people get expedite for less...I am happy for them but becoming bitter and scared to death my mom will pass before I get there. I want to spend some time with her while she still knows who I am :crying:

My dad has grand mal epilepsy and is nearly blind..yeah this was all in my request to expedite...no one cares.

Its hopeless to keep trying for expedite because they dont seem to care...so much stress every freaking day just trying to get through it all.

Sorry for the huge vent...

Am so sorry for what you are going thru. Its just so sad that USCIS, NVC and the Consulate don't care about what we are going thru or how we feel. People's life and home are been torn apart all because they feel we all are desperate to live in America. I was so frustrated i had to tell my husband that he has to come down here to live with me because the pain and agony of the whole process is just way too much to bear.

Just like Soloenta and the rest have suggested, try to get direct contact with the ambassador and explain your situation to him, i will be praying all goes well.

You are right Samreen, there's no end to this process. Was happy to be out of USCIS and then got stuck with NVC, was happy to be out of NVC then got stuck at the Consulate with an AP. Truly there's no end in this endless immigration process.

Weekends I hate weekends! I just had an immigration process attack (crying, anxious you know pms+nvc= trouble) I just hat Icant talk to anyone about this. Somedays its just really hard for me to keep the positive, good attattitude, I know one day will be over, cant wait for that, hopefully it comes soon or ill end up in therapy, anger management hahaha

Boy how I know that feeling and you can't be positive all the time or you would be a robot. Just let it out, but I know soon by your last scan date it will be your turn to wait for your interview date. Hang in there sweet heart. t5063.gif

hello, this is my first time posting and i have a question about a checklist we received on our IV docs. the checklist stated that my birth certificate was not from the right government dep. (although it is). my husband called and the rep told him they want a certificate from a "sharaeih" court. this court DOES NOT issue birth certificates. when my husband told her so she said if we keep sending the same certificate they will keep rejecting it :ranting::ranting::ranting::ranting::ranting::ranting::ranting::ranting:

i went to that court and asked if they could validate my birth cert. with our marriage contract (on the checklist as well) but they said they don't notarize documents issued by other departments and the only thing i need is the official stamp from the ministry of exterior affairs which i got along with the official stamp of the department of justice (i got that just in case) my question: do i need to go to the US embassy and ask them to - i dont know add their stamps to the collection of stamps i got-?? has anyone done this? i called the embassy and whatever 3rd party call center they have told me they dont know!! I emailed the embassy and should get a reply in 2 days. my friend didnt send her IVs to the embassy before submitting them and she received her CC 10 days ago.. i just hate to get a 2nd checklist  any ideas?

I understand how you are feeling. I too am going through this with my own mom. I am her only caregiver and have has to stop my work hours to almost none. I requested an expedite three times. Maybe I dont know my way around VJ well enough yet, but is there a timeline or some sort of database on the site that lets us know when people received a Case Complete based on their scan dates? I dont know all the lingo yet. I'm just doing everything touch and go really. I try not to think about the visa process that much anymore and just deal with it as it happens. Of course, I check the CEAC site every day in the morning just to see find any updates.
