First time posting for November. We're in our fifth month at the NVC. We just reached our one year anniversary of beginning the visa process. Up til now my family has been together but in two weeks my 1.5year old daughter and I will be moving back to the States and my husband will have to stay behind until he gets his visa. We had originally hoped he would be able to join us by Christmas but then we got a checklist for the AOS. Now we're hoping he'll arrive by mid-January.

To the thread and VIVA CHILE! Praying you get your wish for a mid-January interview.

Greetings from Boulder, CO my dear friends,

A very hectic daily schedule have kept me away from my VJ friends, but I'm hoping it won't be so anymore. Have been so busy the last couple of weeks that by around 7:30 p.m., I would fall asleep on the couch within 5 minutes of grabbing the TV remote from my kids. No wonder they don't fight me over it anymore.

I only managed to go through a few past pages only to learn of a CC no show for a friend, a missed December schedule for another and an AP for a third. I hope the good news I've missed far outweigh the bad.

MOBAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR so happy to see you post we all missed you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hehehe I think your kids must be taking bets how long it will take you to fall asleep hahaha !

We have had some great news and I'll let her tell you. And we have had some bad but I don't think the good has outweighed the bad at all I'm sad to say.

Hola Maria, hope you get your CC soon and same with me I can't feel that happy until the very end and my husbands in the USA. This whole thing is just so sad I can't hardly stand it anymore

Me too....I wont be happy until I hug my husband at the airport. ?

Oh.. thank you dear... I really missed all my friends here. The family are doing great and the kids are adjusting greatly to the house and school, in spite of two bear sightings, one at our driveway and another at the school's playground. Only in Boulder.

Thank you my friend. Jet lag, change of weather, trying to keep track of a dozen things at any given time... the blame game is at full swing. My wife lost 5 lb during the first week alone.

Praise God we just got approved for expedite!!! Does anyone know what happens next ? will NVC look for my file? All our papers are there and scanned in on oct 17. Both packets AOS and IV. And ds 260 was completed as well before that.

So so happy and grateful to God. Please help

I don't understand how NVC/immigration can do this to anyone I just can't and don't want to understand it.

Mind you AmeriDutch if you haven't gotten to her posts yet and it's really a lot to read so I'll post what I can here. But she has a heart problem that wont allow her to travel alone so she needs her husband with you. Her last post which is at the link above is below. For your convenience,

​Sorry Soloenta....just trying to keep a sense of humor in this crazy making process.I created my own acronym...for my checklist...CCWC...sounded good since that is exactly what is happening .

Not a happy camper today as my mom is back in the hospital...the docs cant do any more for her and she has another blockage in her heart . They cant fix it because she wouldnt survive the operation. Her heart is is giving out and her pacemaker is kicking her several times a day because her heart stops. NVC refused my expedite in September...and I am not able to travel alone to be with my mom ... I am so done but trying to keep the faith. It is a cruel twist of reality to have a checklist when things are so desperate...what a joke.

Yes MoBar we both finally got a cc. But sadly looks like we both won't be getting dec interview. There isn't any second round of scheduling for dec as far as I heard. But I guess we still have hopes for next weeks! I m glad ur life is back on track!! But yup adjustment is gonna be a big problem for all us I think

Lol! Ur brain isn't frozen but I think she can't travel alone because she can't leave her mom alone and she applied for an expedite to get her husband sooner with her since she can't travel to be with him. Now only she can tell us what she meant
