It may take as little as 10 minutes to get a police certificate of some countries while it could take months for other countries if you're applying from overseas.

I hope you can get your other country's police certificate quickly. Fingers crossed!

First of all a BIG CONGRATS to all the recent CCs!! So happy for everyone and hope u get December Interviews!!

My scan date for AOS & IV is Sept 18th so hoping to hear something maybe next week and hope for a January interview. But now Im worried for AP since the Cairo embassy is known for that. ?

​Sorry Soloenta....just trying to keep a sense of humor in this crazy making process.I created my own acronym...for my checklist...CCWC...sounded good since that is exactly what is happening .

Not a happy camper today as my mom is back in the hospital...the docs cant do any more for her and she has another blockage in her heart . They cant fix it because she wouldnt survive the operation. Her heart is is giving out and her pacemaker is kicking her several times a day because her heart stops. NVC refused my expedite in September...and I am not able to travel alone to be with my mom ... I am so done but trying to keep the faith. It is a cruel twist of reality to have a checklist when things are so desperate...what a joke.

OH sweet heart I'm so very sorry, this just breaks my heart to know your in such pain and anguish! I can only imagine how you must feel. I came home to take care of both my parents but then I don't have a bad heart not that it would make any difference the Embassy wouldn't have given me an expedite either. Did you request your Senator to intervene? It just might help and worth a last try. I know you don't think it will help but just as a last try it would be worth it. This is just criminal, pure and simply CRIMINAL denying you an expedite! God bless you and your dear mother and I will be praying for a miracle. Please in the mean time send another request for an expedite with a new Dr's letter it just might shake them.

This just breaks my heart I am so sorry for everything NVC is putting you through, this process is so not fair but there's very little that can be done about it. Soloenta is right, please try to contact your local senators; as well as any other government official you know of. Keeping you and your family in my prayers.

I'm on the verge of breaking down ! I'm going to the russian consulate Sunday and will see... From what I read it takes a month minimum ... I am sick of everything I just want to burst into tears n hope everything will go a way

You mean the Russian Consulate is open on Sunday!? They must have an office inside of 7-Eleven!

I visit one a year and stay a month never stayed longer but it's still required i read it on the US Amman embassy
