My guess is that the reason it takes more or less time depends on what they are reviewing (is not the same to review both packages than a checklist) and who is reviewing (I presume some representatives are faster than others?)... But again, who knows for sure how they work? This lack of information just sucks. And we are so lucky that we have this awesome forum with great users who share their info and some others who put it all together... Just imagine how it would be without all of this!

Does anyone know how long that they took to get through September? Just trying to gauge if calculations are right. According to TheBigO's calculation it looks like I should start getting ready to hear something from the NVC the end of next week (of course with an Oct. 23rd scan date I know that I gotta give at least another week or so after that to really start getting ready). But would love to see if the average of this month will be the same throughout Oct.

Also, is the FB page active? I looked up visa journey and found a group but I have yet to be added and was wondering if it was worth trying to get added if they don't have any updates like I am looking for.

Hello, you and I have the same scan date and The BigO was kind enough to calculate the date range of my predicted CC:

Using October 23 as your last scan date, the math predicts, with 84.08%: 3 December - 15 December.

It also predicts that, with less certainty, 8 December - 12 December.

So we MAY hear something next week but I HIGHLY doubt it. From the looks of it and what I have "analyzed" it's taking people at least 50 days to get a CC (those are the ones that receive an early CC of course). 50 days for us would be December 12 (which falls in the predicted range) and is more plausible then next week or even the week after. I wish it was next week though! LOL :)

 God's timing is always perfect. . . :star:"Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!" (Luke 1:45) ^_^

I really need help please, my 22nd day of waiting case at NVC. I submitted original civil documents to NVC. My embassy will be ankara turkey, will I need to get more original civil documents and oroginal signed financial evidence to produce at the interview again.?? Am a resident of Turkey but Kenyan citizen. Just wanna know in advance so I can get the documnets before hand since it will take months to have them. Or will my original documents in the NVC file be enough once forwarded to the embassy?thanks:)

Haha awesome. I knew someone was being meticulous about this stuff. I've even been looking at people that have entered their timelines into Visa Journey - it looks like I have over 70 some files that were submitted before mine (and don't show a case complete) - that's counting from about September 29th though so it's gonna be awhile before I hear something.

But I can't stress and thank people that take the time to update this place with their CC's and timeline information when they actually do get a case completes. Why I thought it was so scary about the dreaded checklist is because most of the time I see people talking about it more than when they actually have a CC - and really, who can blame them...if I got it I'd be jumping for joy too!

But please don't forget about us who are looking at the clock and data mining the NVC which really needs a Six Sigma project in place to find all of the errors! :reading:

Yeah nvc is pushing right up to the 60 days they quote on their email.. Today marks my 49th day of waiting on this checklist to get review :( I will update Vj as soon as I hear something :) Best of luck on your journey and I hope everyone gets through fast because this wait is a nightmare...

You're about a third of the way there then as it's currently taking around 60 days to review packages.

Both the AOS and IV packages will be forwarded to the consulate/embassy once an interview date is scheduled. You should always bring photocopies of everything submitted with you to the interview though.

My case got approved on february 2014 and it is in the nvc. I got my case number and IIN . That tym i was a LPR and on November 5 i became a US citizen and on the same day i send copy of my naturalization certificate and approval letter(noa2) . I called them after one week if they received my documents the guy said its not in their system yet and told me to wait 60 days to review.then again i called them on the 16 november and the lady said they didn't receive it and told me to send it again but when i check the usps tracking it shows delivered.so i send it again from fedex this time and the fedex tracking shows delivered and also has the name of the person who signed it upon receiving.does this means it reached the nvc and how long they will tale to put in their system and upgrade my case from f2a to ir1?any body has this issue before?

15 - 23 November for you. Any time now you will get that CC. Keep checking the CEAC website. Hopefully it will change for you over the weekend.

Check the CEAC site mid-Sunday afternoon and early evening Australian time. That's what I did last week and, bingo! CC! The maths predicts you should have a CC as of today!

2 December - 13 December with 84.08% relationship between last scan and CC.

Less reliable, 6 December - 10 December.

Gosh I hope so!

I'm getting really worried that we'll get a checklist, if we do it means that my husband and I will definitely have to part for awhile. He has to be out of Aus by the 3rd of March because of his 12 month visa. So if we get a checklist and add another 60+ days, well... that plus the additional medical/interview/visa time means we'll spend some time apart. I know that there are lots of people in this thread who have been apart from their spouses for much longer but that doesn't make the idea less scary or depressing to me :( I need him in my life!

I am hoping for January. I don't really know though.

The email just confirms Case Complete. It says an interview will be scheduled and that we will be notified

Received the email this morning for CC as expected.

Same boat as you :) Except I'll be the one having to leave my husband in Aus cause of 12 month visa expiring Apr 3. I figure, even if you do get a checklist, that'll take you to January at latest, and you should well and truly be interviewed by March :) Don't worry!
