Call to this one 603-334-0707 try this....

Thanks, but it's the same for me, keeps saying busy and drops the call right away. I have tried calling from different numbers, different phones, here and in States, same result.

If not via phone, what is the most "responsive" email option do I get - asknvc@state.gov?

For Affidavit of Support Form, if we use 1040 form [and NOT 1040 EZ form], do we use line number 22 [Total income] or Line Number 37 [Adjusted Gross Income] ?

seriously don't go by line becoz in my case I filed 1040 and used line 22 and got checklist. line 22 was saying adjusted gross income. and for me line 15 saying total income. so may be everyone is different so go by WRITTEN AS "TOTAL INCOME" OR FOR 1040EZ "ADJUSTED GROSS INCOME".

Yes you can but it requires much patience. I called earlier and was only on hold for 20 mins. Just keep redialling when u get the busy tone and wait patiently when u do get through.

One day both my husband and I called 60 times in total because we kept getting a busy tone. Finally we were able to get through after 60 times. We always call the 603-334-0700 number. I have never tried the other 0707 number. It's normal for NVC to have a busy tone....they get several thousand calls throughout the day. Best of luck!

I am in Australia, also using Skype to call the NVC on 603-334-0700. I have had the best success calling them first thing in the morning when they open (7:00am US Eastern Time, UTC-5). I found that if I call at that time I get into the queue straight away, and am generally on hold 20-30 minutes. A couple of times I tried calling towards the end of NVC's day (around 11pm-midnight US Eastern Time) and found I couldn't even get a busy signal - Skype would just drop the call immediately.

We r extremely grateful for ur kind time to share with ur experience in regards of ' expedite the case'. So we will wait for ' case complete ' note then same day we will initiate the expedite request. If any important piece of advice is needed please share. Thanks

I don't know if you should worry about documents being lost in the mail after all they send them to Embassy as well. I can understand it is tricky to file now or wait for CC but my persona opinion is don't wait and file now. If worse case if there was checklist, than this wait will be lost as well.

I don't think expedite is particularly faster in such cases. NVC will send request to embassy and then embassy will be the one to approve it. When I send my expedite request, it took at weeks for them to get back to me. Maybe someone else can pitch in as well to help you.

On 1040 it is the line 15 which is Total Income. I did fill out my AOS and used 1040. I had this part wright
