I called Friday and the nice rep said she reviewed my DS261 and I'd be receiving the IV invoice in a few days. As of right now I didn't get it, so I called and they said there is no set time when the computer system will update itself and actually send the invoice. So I said, can I call back in a few days if I still doing get it? she said 'sure'. God willing we get it soon and the DS260 opens up for us.

Also, still working on finalizing our AOS and IV packet to send.

Scan date October 14 here.. I see they are getting closer to October noww.. :clock: hurry up NVC.. the holidays are coming and all of us would like to be with our loved ones. Hopefully we all hear good news one way or another.. Good Luck everybody.. and congrats to all CC!

So I have a question about the medical:

My husband needs to have the short list of vaccinations and we were wondering could we just get the vaccinations *when* he goes in for his medical or should he get an appt with a local dr. here and just get them now and then all we would have to do is the medical?

Is it possible that the dr. that is doing the medical can do both? Thanks!

If I am not mistaken, you can get the vaccines ahead of time if you want. All you will need is to have the record saying that he had all the necessary shots done before the medical exam. Others prefer to have this done at the medical exam before the interview. Yes, they can do it there too.

It's just a preference. Hope you are well! I can't wait until NVC starts working on October dates....seems like we're next!! :)

Who knows how NVC works. The last cc was with scan date 9/29. But there are still people with 9/15,9/18 waiting for cc. My scan date 9/24 and no news yet. We pray they have compassion and determination to cc and have families united for holidays.

those getting cc with early Oct its due to having a sept aos scan date, They haven't started Oct just yet and lots of open cases from 9/15 through 9/24 without cc yet... I think the latest with both aos and iv scan is 9/29, Nvc is a mess at this point who knows how they are actually doing this cc.
