I don't know how your state issues it. But recently I saw one from a person I was helping out. The printing was in plain paper with black letters (font size may be 16 to 20 ).. it just says they ran a search for the registration and could not find it. Stamp from the urban office and the blue stamp from the officer (stamp says registrar of Birth and Death) and his/her signature in green ink. It is from Kerala so I don't know how your state format it...

There is no way your GF will have birth certificate.. born before 1950.. just get another not found certificate and send it along with the affidavits.. this time they might accept it.

The one you explained i sent same exect thing with blue stamp and sign and then notarized in english and 2 close relative affadtive.

C s,

Sorry fir late reply. It is not asking me to invite nvc nor add nvc in my contact list. What i do is just dial +16033340700. But hangout works differently in different countries. Like my friend from nz cannot use hangout because it is not free to call nvc from nz using hangout.

Try magicjack app. They say its free also but i do not have any idea because i have not used it.

On I-864, Part 6, 6.a. - do I include my husband's income? He's not listed on any of my tax returns since we just were married this year, but we do live together (in Australia though). I am using a joint sponsor, so not using my or my husband's income for sponsor purposes. Asking because I notice on Part 6, 12, it says the income is the intending immigrant's, doesn't need I-864A, etc.

Anuspras... Our scan dates were 9/15 for our IV documents and 10/22 for our checklist documents (AOS were scanned a long time ago). So we are very happy that we did not need to wait 60 days from when the NVC received our Checklist documents.

Hello fellow vjers,

It's my first time posting something on the monthly thread, and I do need help.

Our scan date for AOS checklist and IV is september 8th and 9th.

We called on this monday(Nov 10th) to see whether our case got completed or not, since it was past 60 days.

However they still hasn't reviewed ours, and the agent that my husband talk to was very kind and asked us to call back on the end of this wk that she will put someone to review ours soon, so we can hear something.

However I just called NVC today(Nov 12th) and got a shocking news. The agent i talked to was telling me that our case is waiting for supervisor review and it takes upto 42days of waiting!!! I'm crying and can't think it straight. I called my husband, and he doesn't think that it wouldn't possibly take that seriously long after we have waited patiently our 60 days torture. I requested to talk to a supervisor, but the agent told me that he is not available at the moment. I'm calling NVC again to talk to another agent hoping to hear something different. What should I do??? Does it seriously take another 42 days of waiting?? I can't do this any more. I'm devastated.

Hello fellow vjers

once again, I truly appreciate everyone who gave me all great advices and sympathy. I talked to a supervisor finally after 1 hrs of holding today. Our case is still not reviewed, but the supervisor promised me that someone will review our case in this week, and if nothing happens till this thursday, then he will follow up and contact the reviewing department for us to get our case reviewed as soon as possible. I'm not sure our destiny, but hopefully something will happen in this week.

I wish swift case reveiw and closure for everyone. We all have our right to spend our time to spend our loved ones.
