So, my case passed October 3, got shipped out - never landed in the NVC. It is now November 17th. Still no case number.

They told me to scan the approval letter and mail it in to NVCresearch 2 weeks ago - did that, still no case number.

8 weeks gone by since approval notice, yippee!

Hi guys! I've been watching this thread, waiting for something to happen at NVC. On 10/23, I got an email from Vermont saying they were sending our case to NVC. Today was the first time I called them. I was only on on hold for 15-20 minutes and was surprised to find out they actually received our case on 11/14. Then I got the "42 days for a case #" blurb. I was pleasantly surprised and excited to get this show on the road. :)

Hello everyone. Our case has 3 N/As already since yesterday ( Nov 16, 2014 ) as what I've read it means we are case complete already.

But 2 persons are telling me that it is not sure thing for case complete. Is it true? :crying: :crying::crying:

we haven't call NVC yet as my husbands job wont allow it till after 10 days( he will be off by then ) . As much as I want to call from UAE, its very expensive and I only have prepaid account. last time I called, I spent 2 etisalat cards but the line was cut as I was out of credit even before I could reach NVC reps.

thanks VJ.

C s,

It is not really 100% but most who got changes are cc. If you have smartphone and good internet connection try to check the app "hangout" by google if it is free to call usa from uae. Becauae from where i am at it is free. Just do not forget to put +1 in front of nvc number. +16033340700. Hope this helps.
