Karma2082,

I've seen it here were case is cc and still appear as paid on ceac webdite.

Congrats! Its a cc. What's your scan date?

Hello perez2012,

My AOS scan date was 9/11 and IV scan date was 9/26 or 9/29 depending on which customer service representative replied. But i had a false checklist email on

11/10 for original birth certificate. Which i was sure that i submitted and i called them and ask for supervisor review. the supervisor was extremely helpful and he adivsed me that he will look into it and since then i have been calling everyday and talking to the supervisor and he advised me that it will be completed next week. But when i called them today, the represantive told me that it was completed as of yesterday night. But Fee hasn't been changed and she also advised me that it is in line for interview date.

I am just wondering when will i get the interview date.

Thanks,

Karma.

They said some of my civil documents were scanned and not the original/original certified copy. My documents were the original certified copies, they were not a scanned copy.

As of 12th Nov. , NVC has stopped asking for the Originals so looks like this checklist does not make any sense now. You may have to call NVC and check..

Yeah, i did. It's annoying though, cause I also had cosponsors... wishing i just left that blank now.

I am in exactly the same boat. NVC admitted they don't it because I have a co-sponsor who makes enough but they want to verify we have a checking account. A supervisor told us to send a letter telling them to remove it, but of course, we still have to wait the 60 days. It's sickening. I can't believe my honesty has lead to another 60 days

Question for the employment section of the I-864. I'm currently unemployed, so will be using a joint sponsor. However, last year I was a volunteer in Thailand for a year. Technically, I applied, they interviewed and hired me. I worked 40 hours a week, doing media in an office, much like an actual job, except I didn't get paid. What I'm unsure about is on the "unemployed since", do you think I would write from when I left my paying job to leave to Thailand, or when I left my volunteer job in Thailand?

The waiting game has restarted.

After receiving a checklist for documents that I already submitted, I called and requested for a supervisor to review my documents. The NVC rep told me that they may be able to accept the AOS package without that document and it would be presented at the interview, and/or they MAY need it to complete the case. He said that that was the only document missing....bummer.

I asked if I should resend it and he said NO! NO! He didn't want me to have to wait another 60 days. He said that it can be any day from the request. He also made sure that I submitted the immigrant application??? He scared me for a minute. He cant see that information until the case is complete.

Congrats on the recent CC's!

He can't see the immigrant application until the case is complete? I got a different story. When I asked if my DS-260 was received, he logged in to my file and said yes, received 22 September. He saw it there easily.

Thats quite the jump in scan date! Hopefully some udpates will trickle in tomorrow, as they usually do with delayed updates on the NVC site.

I am hoping my week will be the week of November 24th!!!
