They lost petitioners form which was all page filled with appropriate way, they lost explanation letter why we didnt submit petitioners financial proof. They are just damn. Send papers again as i did another way you will be waiting for supervisor and after 30 days with big chance nothing will be changed and you will have to wait another 2 months.

have you called them? so its not our faults but its theirs?

I thought i made mistake on part 5, item 1..

They lost papers, it is said all pages are missing and + you dont have financial proof. If you actually sent all but you have checklist still that means we are in same boat and i recommend you send checklist papers. I dont think Supervisor will change something i think they slow down everything and picking random people to avoid loads for Christmas time. (It is personal impression based on what i see on community forums,i am not only you got checklist with no fair). I cant be waiting 35 days for Supervisor and maybe it will be checklist staying still, i prefer to know i have to wait 60 days than save 1 month but risk get 3 month back.

Glory be to God! Scan date aos sept 10 civil docs sept 29. My husband woke me up this morning around 1:15am and told me to check ceac.state.gov and look to see that the aos had changed from paid to N/A! Which means case closed according to vj members. I called nvc nov 12 in the morning and the operator told me it's under review. Did not expect it would be closed the same day! I went to sleep around 10pm nov 12. So nvc closed my case late that night. I will call this morning nov 13 to confirm. No checklist! Also I would like to thank the bigo who predicted nov 10 - 21 for cc. I was cc nov 12 the last hour before nvc closed for the day! I am praying for a dec interview date! Good luck to everyone!

Glad I could help! And I am glad the math appears to be working out for many people just nicely.

Congratulations.

Be careful. There's lots of good advice in the forum, but not everyone's case is the same.

Your checklist says...

"In Part 5. Sponsor's Household Size, please correct the following...
[x] Item 1. The number of sponsored persons must match the number listed in Part 3, Item 7."
To me... - that means that if you resend the form without correcting that item, you'll just get another checklist for the same item.

for my case we we sent 4 paper checklist letter, 1 paper letter of unemployment of petitioner, 9 paper of form i-864 petitioners. (for joint sponsor everything was ok.)

i will double check that part before resending..

so i should write "2" in part 5 (the total persons, cuz my husband is only sponsoring me)

I'm sending my AOS and IV packs from Australia and will be using a joint sponsor for the AOS. Will a signed, scanned, and emailed to me I-864 be okay, or does it need to be his original signed copy that I send to the NVC? So will it be okay to print out a signed and scanned copy and send it, or will I need to get him to mail it to Australia?

Although at a quick glance the NVC website and AOS FAQ don't explicitly say that they require the original forms, I would be very hesitant to send in a copy. It may take a week or two for the original form to be mailed from the US to Australia (get them to send it express - you probably want to track it anyway), but that's nothing compared to the delay you'll face if you get checklisted for sending a copy instead of an original.

According to the I-864 instructions, it needs to be the original.

http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864instr.pdf

"Each application must be properly signed and filed. A photocopy of a signed application or a typewritten name in place of a signature is not acceptable."

Absolutely not. We called the NVC about this (I'm in Australia too) and they could not have been more clear that this needed to be an original and that they can tell.

Don't try to take any shortcuts with the process. They'll get ya for it! Hehe.

Edit: when we got my joint sponsors first lot of paperwork it was signed in blue ink so we had to have them do it again, lol. What we did was chose to send everything to them with clear instructions of where to place their corrected form (we used little flags and everything) and trusted them to follow those instructions and send the package for us. So you can look at doing something like that if you trust your joint sponsor to be really diligent and careful with what they do. Just to clarify: this is in no way a recommendation that you do it this way. It's just something that we chose to do due to the circumstances of our specific situation. Just a disclaimer!
