That's a case close!!!! congrats!!!!! Nvc is so crazy... They are reviewing packages together but sometimes they go by 1st scan and sometime they go by last scan date.. makes no sense :)

Me too!!!! I just checked the site just in case but nothing yet :( today is my 40th date waiting on my aos checklist to be review with a scan date of 10/3 praying for a miracle before the Holiday at the end of this month..

Happy Happy Joy Joy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just got off the telephone with NVC. Our case is complete!!!!! No checklists!!!!!!!! I am so happy!!!!! Still happy in spite of the fact that we can't get a December interview in Kingston. The NVC rep said that the embassy is no longer scheduling interviews for December and she could not tell me when the embassy would start to schedule January interviews.

Thank you Saylin for your wiki. Thank you to all Visa Journey members. This site is so wonderful and helps so many people save tons of money. I filed for my husband and my stepson with no legal advice. I used Visa Journey and I was always given sound advice.

13a in AOS . i still remember i did fill it up. i did not leave it blank. just called NVC the operator is like i did mistake in 13a. which is not true. . did any one faced similar problem?

Just because you didn't leave it blank does not mean it's correct. If you put the incorrect amount, then a checklist would be generated.

Whenever I called the NVC (which was several times) I was always told that they would use the last scan date. I wanted to send both packages together (this was before the procedure changed) but I was afraid of what could happen if something was lost. As the time neared to pay the IV fees I had read several stories from people who sent their documents in early and nothing was lost. I think I might have shaved off some time because I sent in the IV package approximately 1 week before I paid the IV fee. I took a chance and it saved some time.

Rep at Nvc told me everything else was good :) My attorney messed up that 13a plus left the total people you are sponsoring blank I was extremely upset when I got the check list on 9/30 after waiting 55 days for a cc but nothing I could do than fixed it and keep on waiting.. Today is my 40th day of wait on that aos checklist and praying that everything is good this time around this whole process at nvc been a nightmare. :(

USCIS approved my case on Oct 30 and shipped to NVC on Nov 4th as per their website. Still NVC says they haven't received the case yet. Does anyone know how long it will take to reach NVC ?

It took 3-4 weeks for the NVC to email us a letter saying they had received it and send us our case and invoice numbers.

Hello Folks,

I got a false checklist for the original birth certificate. So i called NVC and asked for the supervisor to review it on Monday November 10, 2014. Today is November 12, 2014. How many days does it usually take to review the packet or mistake and for case complete.

Please advise,

thanks,

Thanks to TheBigO. You projected that my case closed date would be Nov 6-Nov 17. My scan dates: AOS Sept. 3 or Sept. 4 (depending on NVC operator) and IV Sept. 24.

Glad I could help! I am Sept 24 also so hope I get CC soon too :-)

If any one would like to send me their last scan date then I will use math to work on a predicted CC for you.

Cheers.
