My AOS was July 29th IV Oct 8th, don't know if I can agree with this statement. :(. Although I deeply wish it were true.

Hi Rielle,

How I wish this was true. My wife and I have you beat. AOS checklist resubmitted April and IV October 14. Yet we will be waiting longer than you. Anyways good luck. My wife is from Saskatchewan. So she will have to do the week in Montreal. Another money grab in this visa process!!

I called and dialed the 3 and they said they are not giving anymore interviews for December and that I needed to dial 1. These ppl are a show they never give a straight answer. Don't even know why they answer calls.

First time checking in on this thread this month. We are in our fifth month at the NVC. Got a checklist so last scan date was 10/10. Here's hoping the holidays don't slow them too much at the NVC.

Hi boardercrosser,

How is this even possible? What happened with your case since April? Why is there such a huge gap between your AOS and hour IV?I live in Toronto, so My 12 year old son and I are going to be travelling. We will be doing 3 days in Montreal to hopefully be able to return to the consulate and pick up our visas the next day.

Hi Rielle,

We were waiting on her getting her police clearances from Taiwan. I won't even begin to start on that horror story. I don't think you will be able to get your visas the next day. You have to set up a Loomis account before your interview. So they can mail your passport back to you. Sometimes it takes a week to 10 days to get your passport back. I guess if you get lucky they might be able to accommodate you. Check out the Canada thread. I think there is a poll there about waiting times to get visas back.

Hope I'm posting in the right place...

October 2013 filer here, been in the NVC since May. Just got case complete a few days ago and waiting for an interview to be scheduled in Montreal.

Does anyone know how long I can expect to wait for that interview to be scheduled based on current traffic? Thanks.

Scan date (both AOS and IV): Sept 24th. Hoping to get CC without checklists soon!! I spoke to NVC few mins ago. She said my case is being reviewed by one of the officers. I asked her how long it will take. She said few days. I will keep checking ceac website to see if AOS is changed from "PAID" to "NA".

Congratulations to applicants/petitioners who got CC. I wonder which link under immigrant you saw updates of AOS from "PAID" to "NA" on?

https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/

Question: Which one: "Fee Payment" or "DS-260, Online Immigration Visa and Alien Registration Application"??

Thanks!

Hey guys,

My hubby and I had been waiting for our IV fee to be invoiced, we decided not to wait any longer and we mailed both the AOS & IV out today. He just checked on the ceac site and saw that the IV was now able to be paid which he did. Do u guys think we will have any issue being that the barcode for the IV is not in the package?
