i am starting a new job on monday and I've quit my job today, but on my AOS it has my old job, should I notify NVC? Or fill out a new AOS? My AOS was fine, my household sponser aos was incorrect, but I corrected it and returned it back. Please help!!!

I submitted my AOS package in August 2014.

I will leave as is. My husband lost his job in DR and I didn't change anything Bcuz that was during the time they required the paper work.

You will need to update your I-864 with the new job information since the new job is now your source of current income.

We've been at NVC since April 29. It has been 58 calendar days since the last scan date for IV and checklist on Sept. 8. It would be a nice surprise to get case closed in a couple days. I am choosing to live in a state of denial about the possibility of another checklist in order to maintain my sanity.

However, our second embassy change was approved on September 26, giving us a new case number (our third, ugh) and I fear this will reset the date. That's most likely what happened with our crazy IV payment mess (65 days...), although I never did get a clear explanation for all of that BS other than queen hyena Fiona saying the embassy change reset the DS-261. The supervisor wouldn't confirm anything. I suppose all I can do is wait until day 60 and then start calling and demanding a supervisor review. They ALWAYS say on the phone that changing embassy will not cause any delays, but I know from experience that this is a complete lie. But at this point, there aren't any forms that could be reset, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Good luck, everyone!

Could you please tell me how you applied for embassy change? I am trying to change the embassy as well since my wife has completed her studies in France and is moving back to her home country. Thanks for your feedback!

Congratulations for previous CC! I had checklist about papers which didn't apply on me case. I talked with NVC representative and as i clarified supervisor is going to review case before weekend. I sent AOS package including letter explaining my wife/petitioner has never worked and therefore there is no 2013 taxes by petitioner and therefore in form I-864 there is 0.00 in places where financial information is demanded (we didint leave blank bc i didn't want them to think it was left empty, just forgot)

Just someone or lost my letter or wasn't good enough to read all papers.

I hope Supervisor will find letter and they will remove checklist :( Lets see! Just NVC made me tired already, when this horrible process will finish?!?!

Another month at NVC!

I just noticed that it'll be exactly 30 days for my scan date on November 6th and my wife's birhtday is also on November 6th! What a gift it would be if we can get a CC. Highly unlikely but here's to hoping!

Good Luck! we have a similar timeline. Hoping for a CC and no checklists!

I remember that I have read somewhere here on VJ a question like yours and answer was that your spouse should take a new I864 with him to interview in embassy and show to consul.

someone correct me if I am wrong.

I would say to also include a copy of the w-2. Also, Proof of her citizenship (if she wasn't a born USC) like her passport copy or naturalization certificate copy. If she's married then you need to make sure her husband also files the form.

Today is the 60th day for me as far as my AOS :dancing:

Scan date is September 8th as far as NVC is concerned.

IV scan date is September 22nd...although the e-mail said September 19th.

How they add extra days...

Should I call or wait until September 22nd 60 day time frame?

Help...

Thanks
