I probably shouldn't respond to this since my mood is not the best at the moment....but since I am one that "checked in" I will. Checking in for most of us is like a roll call . Just saying hey...I am still with you all even if I don't have a lot to say at the moment. I am not good at giving out technical info about the immigration forms or process but that is what the guides are for .I come here to NOT feel alone is this crazy stressful process and congratulate or commiserate with fellow VJ members or to glean little bits of hope. Your comment gives me pause as to whether I will "check in" any longer and that is not fair.

I agree with you. Before my case got to NVC, I used to come to all the monthly NVC threads and drool...with my mind spiraling ahead as to what I should expect when I get there. Now I'm there, I'm happy to have this community of VJers that are a little ahead of the road, so I can learn from what they have gone through. I will "check in" on all the monthly NVC threads (hopefully it won't be many :) ) until I get CC. I'm learning as I go through this journey.

I seen two so far scan dates of Sept 10th and 11th.. That's actually awesome! It seen like nvc is going through Sept real quick :) is only Tuesday and they are on the last of the 2nd week off Sept... There is hope!!!!

I'm not sure if it was you who had a theory that b/c so many AOS August dates (that had Sept. IV dates) were processed in October, September AOS dates would move faster! I think (if it was you) that you were right!!! I have a long way to go but I sure hope I can get an interview in January or February at the latest (and of course, no checklists!!)....this is so exciting and nerve wrecking at the same time LOL

Hi everyone,

So what is the last scan date? I saw that Samreen with scan date of 9/10 or 9/11 received CC and saw somewhere else that someone with EP received CC with 9/15 scan date. Is the last known date 9/15 then?

Thanks!!

Yep, It was me!!! :) It seen to be working out that way and they are moving way quicker than August. I still got a bit to go my checklist scan date is 10/3 but hopefully they continue at this speed... I'm also praying for a January or Feb interview.. and yes I do agree with you this process is way to hard on people, I think I had gotten older and gray hair in the last 5 months due to nvc.. lol praying we all get good news soon! :)

Really Nanana? Thanks for highlighting that. I read all the NVC steps and never "read" it like that. I read elsewhere that they could be sent in two packages. Thanks again.

no problem.

I guess the " elsewhere " has old info. how you are going to do it is Of course all up to you :) anyways Good luck!

I just wanted to say I need more people to 'check-in' (so please don't stop!) - It gives me hope that people are not only updating their friends here on VJ, but also the people that have a little ways to go in the process and we can judge when we should totally start itching to call NVC to check on our own cases. I try to help out questions and answers as I see but if it was me and I wasn't getting an answer on here, start a new thread and I'm certain that there will be plenty of folks jumping to answer your questions (at least that's what happen to me!)

Keep checking in please my dear and hope your mood is a little better - there is a light at the end of this tunnel, no matter how dim it looks now. It may seem like a long way to go, but you will be reunited soon! (L)

My scan date is 10/23 . . . i have a long way to go still.

Speaking of itching...I'm counting down the days when I'll start giving them a quick call to see where my case it. I had a dream last night that I got a check list and I didn't call them for like a week and when I called they got upset with me and said I lost so many days because I didn't call them and ask if I got a check list or not. I was so relieved when I woke up and found it was just a dream!!
