I think I will do this when we get the email. It may be clearer on that as to what is missing. For example, I got a clearance in name only and perhaps it wants fingerprints as well for some reason?

Any Queenslanders or expats have any idea on that?

did you ask rep. what information is missing when you called? or you have to wait until you receive the email to know.

As i was updating my cover letter to send out with the checklist items I realized I sent my passport biographic page (like your guide states). Wouldnt this prove my citizenship status as I have a Canadian passport :S

 Uh, ya, you're right, that should have proved your Canadian status... NVC :bonk:

Just send them another copy of your bio-data page of your passport as well as a copy of your Canadian citizenship certificate and card. Basically, throw them all the proof you have of your Canadian citizenship, so hopefully they'll get the point

Same situation here. Was told last friday that 60days script. AOS still remains paid.

I check at the sumarry page using either the first or the third link of the ceac page.

What's weird now is that i can no longer access the payment link which previously i can.

I really hope for a cc. Scan date october 6 for both packages that we sent together..

same here, i cannot access the payment link as well. My daughter's checklist scan date is Oct. 1.

Looks like it is a computer glitch, but really hope for CC.

I wonder if those who are not close to CC yet can access their payment portal. Just trying to figure out if it is a technical problem or something else.

I got mine from the AFP. Name and fingerprint. All good.

So on the AFP website it gives you the opportunity to do name, or name and fingerprints. Fingerprints is a lot more expensive and I'm not keen to do it unless I'm told I have to. I have nothing to hide it's purely the cost :|

How long did they say it would take for the embassy to receive your results?

I am the beneficiary. My husband is the petitioning USC.

I did both name and fingerprint. I know it is more expensive but when it comes to this process, I feel it is better to give them as much information as possible, so I paid extra for the fingerprinting as well to cover all bases. Actually, I think because you are in QLD or NSW you are required to do it as name AND fingerprint. (link below)

I am in WA so mine was sent directly to me. If you get fingerprints, you have to call first and make an appointment to get the prints done. Then, once you send the application off it should take no longer than 30 days as per the AFP website. Mine came back the next week!!

Here is the link with the checklist showing what is needed. Read it very carefully.
