From what I know as far as Packet 3 and 4 is that different embassy operate differently. Some people received them by mail, some received them by email, and some doesn't received them at all! So you might want to check with people from your embassy to see how your embassy operate.

One week after emailing in our packet 3, we got our packet 4 emailed to us. My fiancée is working on booking an interview date and medical appointment. I'll update my timeline and signature upon getting those date.

It looks like we have the same interview date in Montreal! (If your timeline is already updated...March 17?) What time is your appointment? I am amazed you got a date so soon!

02/10/2014 Called NVC (4 times in 3weeks) no update. Checked website in afternoon, IN TRANSIT?!!

02/11/2014 READY. After 21 days of no activity our status magically jumped 2 levels in less than 24hr.

Emailed MONTREAL-IV-DV@STATE.GOV requested further communication via email.

02/17/2014 Got an email response from MTL "Your file is being reviewed. We soon provide you instructions."

03/04/2014 Submitted multiple inquiries with no response! Tired of waiting around, so emailed in Packet 3 with copy of student visa.

03/09/2014 CEAC Status Date changed AGAIN to today. Hope this mean we'll be getting Packet 4 soon.

03/11/2014 GOT PACKET 4! CEAC Status Date changed.

04/17/2014 Interview appointment.

Nope. It's whenever there is availability with the doctor you call between scheduling your interview and having it. My medical was February 24 and my Interview is March 17...

Aww! That's very nice, I'm happy to hear that! I'll still wait for another 2 weeks before I'll email our packet 3, I'm still waiting for the Philippines clearance, hopefully I'll have it by then.. We're not really in a rush though because I still have my contract to finish, thank you for the update hope to hear again from your updates soon.. Goodluck!

February 26th 2015: POE at Las Vegas airport, then onwards to Oregon! 

March 6th 2015: Marriage (with a "real" wedding to follow next year on 7/6/2016)

March 9th 2015: AOS, EAD & AP submitted

September 22nd 2015: Interview

January 14th 2016: Two year Green card received -phew!

August 8th 2017: 90 day window begins! ROC time!

September 28th 2017: Biometric Appointment in Portland, OR

March 5th 2018: Case received by local office

August 18th 2018: 18 month extension letter mailed

December 2018: Case moved to another office

February 2019: I was emailed that I was approved and my card was in production the same day of my N400 interview 😂

LBCTT, for your actual interview, make sure you have both the original and a photocopy of your birth certificate. They also asked me for 2 copies of the DS160 confirmation page.
I paid by credit card when I scheduled my interview, all online.

I picked up my visa this morning! Less than a week between interview and pickup, that was pretty good! Moving in two weeks! I'm trying to get my houseplants certified so I can bring them along. Who knew that even plants need paperwork!

Hi all! My fiancé and I are currently waiting on his passport, and it probably won't be here until the middle to end of April which will put us in dangerous territory of going past the expiration date on our petition (5/19/15). How does this part work? I'm hoping it'll all be ready and we'll have our interview before then, but what should we do preventatively? I have heard something like submitting another letter of intent from the petitioner. So can I just send my fiancé (the beneficiary) a letter of intent without a typed date and sign it and he can date it closer to our interview? We are at the London embassy. Thank you in advance!!
