The sample packet 3 link you posted is dated Oct 2013, is your packet 3 checklist the same as the sample? What about items on the check list that doesn't apply to you, for example Court record and Military record? Did write N/A or did you just checkmark those items?

I just didn't check the things that werent relevant. But remember that your packet 3 list might look very different if you're not at Montreal. Mine's Vancouver, same country, different consulate, and it doesn't ask for all the same things as Andymack's. Why, I have no idea.

The link I posted is Packet 3, not a sample. You can get to it through this link: http://montreal.usconsulate.gov/visas/visas/fianc-k-1-visas/forms.html which I copied directly from the automatic response email I got back from the Montreal Consulate when I emailed them my Packet 3 items. I haven't officially received Packet 3 from them yet, but as long as the consulate has your paperwork, you don't really need to wait for them to send it to you, since it's posted online (A lot of Canadian filers have done this - it's mentioned in the Canada forum).

For the items on the checklist that did not apply to me, I put N/A, but I don't know what the preferred method is. To be honest, I don't imagine them being THAT picky about it. I just didn't want to leave it blank because I didn't want them to think I forgot about that item or skipped over it. But, if something comes back to me when I get my Packet 4 about it, I will definitely let you all know!

Can someone answer this cause im totally confused what will be the next thing to do after we received the Noa2 approval. :( Thanks??

Firstly, this flowchart will help you:

http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1flow

Secondly, I'd have a look in the regional forum and see if there is any specific advise/threads with regards to your/your beneficiary's embassy:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

To summarise briefly. Following NOA2 your petition is sent to NVC. They assign a case number then send the petition to the beneficiary's local embassy, who will contact the beneficiary regarding the next steps. Police certificates, a medical, divorce decrees (where applicable) and affidavit of support are all items needed to be sorted out at this stage. Then comes the interview. Good luck!

It means something has happened... like receiving your medical results or theyve mailed the beneficiarys packet four :)

Mine also seems to change when they respond to queries we have.
