Rhaenarys, that's so frustrating :(

LBCTT, don't call back. Now that you have your case number, you can just check the status online!

I checked my status today - my case in transit to the consulate! I am already getting my packet 3 stuff organized because as soon as the CEAC website says "ready" I am emailing it in.

Ours is in transit, may I ask how do you know what to prepare? Before your packet three arrives? Any ideas to share please so we can start to get ready beforehand.. Thank you!

Good news/ bad news.

I receieved a reply about my congressman's inquiry today in the mail. Ps. he accidently sent the inquiry to CSC instead of TSC.

"If the petition had been receipted into the California Service Center on that date, (Nov. 28) the processing time would be five months from the receipt date of the petiion into CSC. It appears that there is a one month difference between the TSC and CSC processing times."

Now, the question is.....Is this inside info from CSC or are they just saying TSC is a month behind? Clearly they are behind, why say they are only a month when they are saying June 6th? If they are only one month I'd receive an NOA2 in May.

Thoughts?

I'm at the airport waiting for my flight back to the UK :( I feel so silly crying in public! Can't wait for this all to be over!

Looks like you are making good progress though! Quick question, how quickly did you book your medical? Was it as soon as you got the case number when you phoned NVC? Do you need to make sure the embassy has chance to get the file?

I'm not really that close to a NOA 2 since being at TSC but just wanted to have the next step in mind ready!

for us...... the medical couldnt be booked until she got packet 4 actually. Packet 3 had the letter requesting the police report but packet 4 had the letter requesting the medical. For an update, the medical went well for my fiance and she will be picking up the sealed medical report on Feb 26th. So once she has that in hand she should have everything she could possible need for the interview on Feb 29th. I cant believe that it is only 5 days away. I will definitely provide an update once it is complete.

I'm not really that close to a NOA 2 since being at TSC but just wanted to have the next step in mind ready!

(This advice is obviously london embassy specific)

I booked it straight away because I was booking it so far in advance. It doesn't need to be at the embassy BUT it does need to be there when your results get there which is four working days after your appointment, or they don't have a case to match the results with. So might be worth holding fire until it is at least "in transit" if not "ready". You also need to provide a letter with your case number on it on the day, I never received packet three so I took the letter that NVC sent to Dan.

Hope that helps!

Aww! Very nice of you Romet! Thank you very much! But to be honest we don't know where to book my medical yet, or where embassy we're going! We are at lost, I'm a Philippines national but I am living here at Canada thru working visa and he petitioned me from here, so we are at lost and confused to where are we going in terms of affiliated clinic or hospital for medical and to where U.S embassy to approach lol! So my fiancé said we really need to wait for the packet or atleast the letter from NVC they might put some instructions for us there or maybe not too! Ugh!!!

And police certificate from hongkong needs a letter from the embassy of U.S to apply for it, as well as Canada.. In the Philippines, it is not needed.. So any advice if you have idea please...
