Hi Romet,

Sorry to bother you but I really need help for the NVC number, it's almost 2 weeks since my fiancé received our NOA2.. And I have a lot of crickets lol! I was reading another thread last night and there are cases thier I-29f didn't reach NVC and they keep calling but they keep saying they didn't received IT yet or wait and wait! I googled NVC's number but I just want to make it sure from your experience. Thank you for your help ?

First, you totally are NOT bothering me.

Second, it is difficult to get through to the NVC, but KEEP trying. It's usually busy, but dial over and over until you get through. Also expect to be on hold for up to a hour sometimes. It's CRAZY the hold time.

They are saying it takes 35 days to get to the NVC. I have to admit, we got our very close to that. Our NOA2 was Dec 3rd and it didn't get to the NVC until Dec 30th (27 days), so it seems to be taking a bit of time right now.

I'm sure you have their number, but just in case it's (603)334-0700.

I know it's very frustrating, but it should be there before the 35 days.

Good luck!!!

Our lovely journey!!

How did you get the invoice number? Were we supposed to ask for that too when we talked to NVC?

I did get my invoice ID number.. but kind of had to ask for it. So, when I saw he wasn't "giving up" information easily, I asked him if there was anything else I needed. It would make it a LOT easier for them if they gave ALL the information needed and also a quick synopsis of what should be expected next. You have to ask them EVERYTHING. Also, be sure to check out your country's forum. They will help walk you through the process too.

When I called last week, the operator I spoke with told me they had just received it, she gave me both numbers on her own.

HAHAHA!!! A lot of patience!!

Also, try to call once or twice a week. I've mentioned before here... I called on the 29th of December (Monday) and my case got there on the 30th and didn't call back until 5th of January only for them to tell me it had gotten there a week before. They did also tell me once the cases are at the NVC, K1 visas quickly go through their system.
