Aw we were all in the same boat when we were filling ours out! Just make sure you read the guides and look at all the example forms on VJ! It's $340 at this stage

Depends on the service centre! Are your Texas or California? Now we are all waiting for our NOA2s (which means the initial petition has been approved).

Texas seem to be back logged which makes for a good wait of five to six months

California seem to be doing better so the wait for NOA2's is more like two months

Unless of course you've been expedited for any reason in which case yours will be faster. Hope that helps!

I have a question.. For the I-129F package, my fiancé did not include his financial statements (pay stubs etc) there. Would that cause problems?

Another question, when all things come together and we can do a visa interview at the embassy, are we able to schedule it? Or does the embassy (or USCIS or any body that concerns it..) schedule it for you?

Financial information is not required with the initial petition, you submit that prior to your interview at the embassy.

It depends on the embassy, some schedule the interview for you and others you select a date yourself. Check in the regional forum for your embassy to find out
