I tried to cross the border into the US with my fiance today and I got turned away. We had some christmas presents that we received at my parents' house in Canada, and they deemed it that we were trying to move my stuff in, even though that wasnt true. They didnt like my proof, even though I did have some, and they said they couldnt verify with my work because it's a holiday. They threatened to take my Nexus card and deny my visa. In the end they just refused my stuff, so I had to come back and drop everything off. The canadian guard told me to take an absolute bare minimum when I visit from now on. It was terrifying. I cant wait for this to all be done!

Hi Guys... I was just filtering through the Nov. filers timelines again and still see many others getting their NOA-2. I see that M and L have even got their case # ( Congratulations M and L !!! ) although they filed through the TSC and applied later than we did... We sent ours in on Nov. 3rd, got the NOA-1 Nov. 11 and have not heard and word yet at all even though our is through CSC... I guess it just goes to show that the CSC may not really be any faster than the TSC??... Probably depends who's desk it lands on and if they are any more productive or caring than their workmates...

Well, Good luck to us all and Happy New Year... Lets all hope we are soon with our loved ones in 2015!!!

I'm in the same boat as you... Ours was sent nov 12th, NOA1 nov 19th, and received by CSC as well. NO WORD as of today, I was also wondering the same with who's desk it lands on or slips thru... So I guess CSC is not really any better... Well I hope we all get our NOA2 soon sometime next week!!! I heard NVC is a lot faster than USCIS...

Thanks to everyone for the Moral support...

We can't imagine going through this without the help of VJ and all of you who have learned along the way. Anyone who has not learned of this site and trying to "go it alone" are probably feeling so lost and frustrated. Having so many folks here that share their experiences throughout the various processes is what keeps us Sane and Hopeful...

We are especially thankful to those who have already gone through the entire gambit but continue to advise and support us newbies that are still trying to muddle our way through the maze... Some of you have been helping now for Years since you have finalized your journey and all we can say is Thank you, Thank you... I'm sure there are so many others who share these thoughts and appreciate all you have given. I hope that once Kris and I get through all this we can also continue and help others with what we have learned.

All the best to everyone!!!
