Sooooo...... we've received our NOA2!! :dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing: :joy:

I didn't get a text or email - but I happened to check the case status and it has been approved!!! Never in my right mind did I think it would be approved so quickly when we began this whole process! I now have a lot of questions, because my fiancé and I are a bit unsure of what the next steps are. I know that after this the application gets sent to NVC which could take a bit. And my fiancé needs to get a medical booked. How soon does this all need to happen... does the medical need to be booked with in a certain time frame? Can he book the medical with his family doctor? And I know I need to begin to gather that next set of documents as well. Does my fiancé need those for his interview when the time comes?

Thank you all so much, don't know what I'd have done in this process without your support. :)

Nice, we didn't go up that far, we pretty much crossed the entire country south of Dublin up and down so I told him we're roadtripping the north when I fly in again. :)

Welcome to the board! No offense to all of the awesome, lucky people at CSC but I'm glad I have another person on here with an Irish fiance at TSC, everytime someone gets approved in a month it's kinda depressing :(

Thank you all so much, don't know what I'd have done in this process without your support. :)

After your packets goes to the NVC and they do their handy work with it, it then gets forwarded (shipped) to the embassy/consulate. Once they get it they will either send a letter or an email letting you know what it is your fiance(e) will need to send. I spoke to a NVC rep the other day and they said from the USCIS to the NVC is taking up to 35 days. I'm not sure how accurate that is. He also told me that once it gets to the NVC the packets gets through them very quickly. He said within a few days, so I hope what's he's saying is true there. Once it leaves the NVC it usually gets sent DHL and gets to the embassy relatively quickly.. but again.. you have to take all of this with grain of salt. :(

I would wait to get medical exams booked until you get your packet three ONLY because depending on when you get your interview, they may have you take certain tests over (for example, TB test) if they're done too soon. So that's more money.. :(

You have to go to a doctor that is Embassy assigns. They usually have a list you can go to.

Yes you fiance will need to take docs with them. I-134 affidavit of support . When you get your "packet 3" it should have a list of documents they'll need to send and what to bring to the interview (I believe).

Visit your consulate forum on VJ and they should be able to help with better detailed information of what you'll need.

GOOD LUCK!!!!

Hope over to the United Kingdom forum for information regarding this stage :) this thread is particularly helpful http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/474161-london-k1-a-complete-guide/

There is only one place in the UK where the medical can be done, that can be booked as soon as you guys have your case number from NVC.

Congratulations by the way!
