I have no case updates (currently on hold to NVC) but I do have some news on Friday my fiance and I went and picked out my engagement ring! He's holding on to it for now though as he wants to find "a more memorable moment" to give it to me (despite the fact he has already asked me once and we are in the K1 process ) Just wanted to share haha!

It does indeed I asked if they know when it can be expected to ship out there and she said "not until we have all the documents" so I guess I will just keep checking the CEAC status online. I land in the UK on January 22nd following this xmas trip so I am going to try and get my medical for January 23rd as i'll be in London already

So....since I'm at work counting down till Friday, maybe someone knows this answer.

When you log into USCIS it says Petition Received. On the letter and email it says Petition Accepted (not approved of course) but does USCIS move your status from received to accepted or does it go straight from received to approved minus if there's something wrong with it?

Congrats! That's great with above, I think it's important to keep the "process" away from the "normality", we are trying the same, can't say much in case she's looking, keeping it a surprise as best I can for the "memorable moment"

I believe mine said received the entire time... then eventually it said "Case was approved". They like playing with our emotions I see. LOL.

Mine didn't say accepted. Just received.

I just got off the phone with NVC and the lady said that they received my case today, to call back in a couple of days so they can put in the system and assign a case number... yayyy

FABULOUS!!! Maybe I SHOULD call.. LOLOL.. I was giving them the standard "10 business days" from my USCIS approval date.. but maybe I'll "bug" them a bit early... LOL
