Is it the 9 digit number and one letter on the NOA2? I didn't see anything on ours specifically marked ARN number.

I think its the one next to the word "beneficiary" that begins with an A, above the beneficiary's name.

This is based on guessing however

Been seeing a few people get transferred from Texas to California and they're getting their NOA 2's so quickly! We are still with the Texas center which seems to be going consistently slowly :( What makes applications get transferred to California? Is it just luck? I have a feeling we are going to get kept in the queue and have to wait 5 months instead of a couple of weeks if California processed it :(

Is it that they are actually getting transferred or just that they originally entered their service centre on VJ incorrectly? I thought they hadn't transferred any since April!

I have no idea either... Im with CSC and i feel like they are taking longer than expected to process the petition. Mine is still pending... I have read others who are getting approved and faster processes even though mines was sent around the same time.. Not sure why maybe its the person who is working on my case. I think after the holidays they might get back to the normal speed and also get some cases transferred from texas to them.

So what happens after NOA2 is received do we take any action or is it our fiance's turn?? haa

After you guys have your case number from NVc you need to fill out the affidavit of support (I-134) and send proof of income for the beneficiary to take to their interview. They also need to get their police certificates and book their medical :)

do u think its best if he starts the medical and police records process at the time im filing the affidavit of support? Or he can not until I complete it? So since we are in December. and tax season is coming up does that mean we will be asked for our 2014 taxes for affidavit of support?

Police certificates he can get now.

Medical can be booked once you have the case number but check your regional forum for specifics, as I have only read about the UK process.

Affidavit of support just needs to be there in time for the interview, he will present it there. Most recent tax is fine I believe but there are alternatives such as pay stubs and a letter from the employer. Again check regional forum for specifics on what the embassy likes.

Hope that helps!
