Hey @oana.budescu, it's funny but me and my fiancé also met on omegle. :) I was just bored and the site was just given to me by a friend and he said he was just bored too.. Around 2 hours of talking, we exchanged msn and he just kept on messaging me everyday. :)

Hey there everyone, i want to tell you that i applied for a toueist visa to be with Dustin for holidays and i got it today i had my interview. I felt a bit strange, cause they were looking so strange at me and all that they wanted to see was if we have a k1 on process and when the consul asked me how we met and i told him on a website and then he was here for 3months, he looked at me so strange, but the important thing is that i got it and i'll be there for 3weeks and then i have to come back to finish the k1 process. We met on omegle and it was a sign as we believe it was special and written in the stars for us, cause i dunno if u know that site, you talk with strangers and there are like 30.000 people, so there's no chance to talk with the same person in 30mins, buuut that happened with us. He was there for a research about what people think about life, so he wrote down my oppinion and then, without asking for contacts we said take care and clicked "next" button, i was there for almost the same thing, asking people about psychology (i am a psychology student) and after 30mins the "stranger" asked me "what is life for you" and i was like "no waaay, it's you again" and he said yes, it's me. After 2hours talking about how could this be possible, we decided we should talk once in a while, so we changed contacts and then day by day we became more close to eachother until we decided to meet and here we are. :D It might be a cliché, but i still believe it was something unique. Fingers crossed for me to get through POE. And about our K1 still the same status on USCIS site "case was received".

And I do agree with Romet that our "monthly" board is more active than all the other "monthly"s. :D

Also, please pray for the Philippines. Seems like another typhoon's about to hit us. :(

So, I have a question... I can't really seem to find an answer on VJ. I've been reading some other topics regarding the evidence others sent with their package to prove they were in a bonafide relationship, and people from high fraud countries (like Morocco) front loaded their package with Skype/FB/etc. logs as well as their pictures, boarding passes, etc.

I'm starting to spin myself up since I feel like maybe I didn't provide enough information for the officers at the Embassy. I know that USCIS cares that there's proof we've met, but I'm thinking maybe I should've put in our Skype/FB/etc. logs just for the people at the Embassy (I included trip receipts, 10-15 pictures, and boarding passes). My plan was to compile a lot of our conversations and send to my SO for his interview and to show then, but I'm kind of worried now.

So my question is - can I send more evidence to the TSC and reference my case number even though I haven't gotten an RFE (and don't expect one). Not sure if it would look super weird if I just sent a bunch of call logs randomly, or if they would even accept the files.

thanks!!

I haven't read much on VJ that is of use to this either but the general advice when people notice errors after filing (not that this is an error of course) is to wait and see if an RFE comes along and then respond, as it will probably be hard for them to match up anything new you send to your original application if it isn't already being looked at.

Personally I would sit tight and wait and see if they did send an RFE of this nature, and deal with it should this situation arise. If not, as you said, just prepare loads of additional info to take to the interview and try not to worry too much in the meantime.

You are of course extremely emotionally invested in this process (as are we all!) and want it to go smoothly but worrying yourself silly won't help!

Others may have more useful/specific answers but that's just my two cents. Really am rooting for you, you've always been so kind to me! Good luck! :)

Thanks, Pheebs. Naturally I'm a worrier, so this process isn't the best. I need to learn that it's out of my control (at the moment) and everything will work out. I'm the planner/organizer/Type A person in our relationship, so thankfully I have everything in order to send to him for evidence at the Embassy interview :)

Yeah, I think I get worried because of some of the experiences I've read at the embassy. It looks like the most recent ones have been smooth, so we'll see. I think the way we met reduces the concern that there's fraud, but who knows :) Like I said above, I'm making sure my SO is fully loaded with evidence and is prepared for the questions that might come his way. Good luck in your journey!

Hello Fellow November filers...

Out of curiosity, what way ACCURATELY updates VJ's timeline(s): Entering the dates that you receive the texts/emails or entering the dates that you get the actual hard copy of the notices?

Also, has anyone noticed that our little family here seems to be much more "active" (regarding our communication with each other on here) than other "monthly" forums? LOL.

I wondered about this as well, because when I actually looked at the paper copy of the NOA1, there was an issued date, which I think is more accurate than "what day did the mailman get it to me?".

Ours was issued on November 21, we got a text/email November 24, but it wasn't stamped until November 25. (I don't know what day it was actually delivered since my fiance was out of state that week). So I have no idea what to put on the VJ timeline.

I don't know why I didn't think about that, using the date it was issued rather than when I received the hard copy. I would think it would make more sense to use the issue date, and that's what I'll change mine to.

Just looked on the timeline page, and there's a link to which date you should use - http://www.visajourney.com/images/noa-date.jpg

It might be, but maybe double check? Silly me didn't include the G-1145 form so I'll never know what my electronic notification would've been

Speaking of notice date, I can't believe it's already been a month since my NOA-1 was issued! It flew by, so I'm hoping the remaining months will too :)
