I hope this didnt affect my petition but when I called USCIS for information about my petition being received or not. They asked me for my fiance birth date month.day/year and I said 1999 but then I quickly said 1990 ... :/ seriously hoping they don't take that into consideration yikes!!! Im not a morning person!!

Thank youuu I hope so as well. I noticed we were in morocco around the SAME TIME in sept!! Are you planning on visiting again?? I'm thinking about going back in end of Jan 2015 but with the whole ebola news Im a little scared to get on a plane

ha! That's too funny. I was thinking of heading back after Christmas and stay through NYE, but flight prices were insane and my family was worried about the whole ebola/plane issue, too. A bunch of my family members and I are heading on a Med cruise again in April so I was hoping he could join so he could meet them, but I doubt he will be approved for a Schengen visa through Spain.

Hopefully you can go back in January!

hahaha yesss but I'm sure its under control. I think we went there and back during a time were it was higher risk of catching ebola...(i dont know) but yes you should try and go visit sooner. I dont know if i could even wait till march to visit. I rather go in jan or feb... how exciting. and not a bad idea to have the family meet him that way all the best!! <3

We are all human, we all make mistakes and you corrected yourself instantly. I am sure the person on the phone made no note of it and is even less likely to have the power to make those kinds of decisions. I'm sure everything will be fine

Sooo all this waiting has me nervous... in the wait for approval my mind is going crazy...was there enough evidence (though I included a lot) ? If there wasn't then I would have had and RFE by now correct?....trying to be patient but every now and then the wait makes me crazy...guess we all have these moments.

My second summer working at a summer camp in Michigan. A girl who I had worked with the previous year told me she was bringing her cousin to work at camp this season (Dan). We went kayaking, I fell out and couldn't get back in so had to swim back to shore (in a life jacket I wasn't allowed to remove) with him kayaking next to me, dying of laughter. The rest, as they say, is history

Honestly, you shouldn't even worry about it now. No you won't get a RFE until they look at your package. Imagine your package sitting at the bottom of a stack that reaches the ceiling. It's a sad thing to think about but maybe it'll allow you to relax. You most likely won't hear anything for a few months.

You have nothing to be nervous about. The package is what it is. If you haven't had any previous marriages, or filed other petitions, or had immigration issues in the past you should be fine. Also remember RFEs aren't the end of the world.

Keep in mind the USCIS's job at this stage is to evaluate the legality of a marriage between you and your partner. The embassy that actually processes the visa cares that the relationship is legitimate.

So relax. It's going to be a long wait so plan your next trip to see your lover and keep busy and look forward to Christmas. KCCO!

Best friend of the last 13 years got deported for some naughty behavior. Went to Mexico to visit him. Introduced me to his friends from elementary school while on vacation in Ixtapa. Rest is history. This whole thing taught me God works in mysterious ways. Lose my best friend gain my new best friend.

Hey there everyone, i want to tell you that i applied for a toueist visa to be with Dustin for holidays and i got it today i had my interview. I felt a bit strange, cause they were looking so strange at me and all that they wanted to see was if we have a k1 on process and when the consul asked me how we met and i told him on a website and then he was here for 3months, he looked at me so strange, but the important thing is that i got it and i'll be there for 3weeks and then i have to come back to finish the k1 process. We met on omegle and it was a sign as we believe it was special and written in the stars for us, cause i dunno if u know that site, you talk with strangers and there are like 30.000 people, so there's no chance to talk with the same person in 30mins, buuut that happened with us. He was there for a research about what people think about life, so he wrote down my oppinion and then, without asking for contacts we said take care and clicked "next" button, i was there for almost the same thing, asking people about psychology (i am a psychology student) and after 30mins the "stranger" asked me "what is life for you" and i was like "no waaay, it's you again" and he said yes, it's me. After 2hours talking about how could this be possible, we decided we should talk once in a while, so we changed contacts and then day by day we became more close to eachother until we decided to meet and here we are. It might be a cliché, but i still believe it was something unique. Fingers crossed for me to get through POE. And about our K1 still the same status on USCIS site "case was received".

As others have said, don't worry at all! Seeing as you're from VA like me, we are automatically routed to TSC which means we will (unfortunately) have a long time to wait. Keep patient until March/April 2015.
