How are you tracking your package???

I think she means tracking it in the physical mail.

If you mailed the I-129F express mail or courier and received a tracking number, you can actually see when it was delivered to the USCIS. Delivery does not count as an NOA1, you'll receive that between 7 days to in some cases a month (expection not the rule...HOPEFULLY).

Once it gets there, it is sucked into the "blackhole" and the only way of tracking is communication directly from USCIS (i.e. NOA1, NOA2, RFEs, Intent to Deny..eek) as well as using the Alien Registration Number given on the NOA1 on the USCIS website (however this is conjecture based on my own research).

Anyone please correct me if I'm mistaken in someway.

Yep sorry I meant tracking its journey to USCIS with USPS online with a tracking number! Sorry for any confusion!

Sent our I-129F form today (11/07/14) to Texas. And so it begins.... :)) Good luck everyone...

10/08/2015: AOS packet sent to USCIS (Chicago lockbox) via USPS Priority mail (They received it 10/10/15).

10/16/2015: Text/eEmails received from USCIS with receipt number. We received 3.

10/22/2015: Received hard copies of NOA's for I-131, I-765, & I-485.

11/01/2015: Got NOA for biometrics appt (for 11/12/15).

11/03/2015: Did WALK IN biometrics appt - took 15 mins. Person taking said work permit should be in mail in less than 4 wks.

12/09/2015: Got email/text notification for INTERVIEW date.

12/28/2015: Got email/text notification EAD card has been mailed.

12/31/2015: Received EAD/AP card.

01/11/2016: INTERVIEW (in Los Angeles office).

01/11/2016: Case in in "CONTINUANCE". Awaiting approval. (Feels like AP).

06/27/2016: I-485 APPROVED - (FINALLY!!!) / 264 DAYS (8 MONTHS 20 DAYS)

07/01/2016: GREEN CARD RECEIVED

For you CSC filers...maybe

Sometimes they send some of the TSC ones over to CSC when they are backlogged. Fingers crossed yours makes the jump over and can be processed quicker!

Immigration Timeline

 

June 2013: Met whilst working at a summer camp in Michigan 

K1

November 1st 2014: I-129f submitted for K1 visa

February 24th 2015: Visa in hand!

February 26th 2015: POE at Las Vegas airport, then onwards to Oregon! 

March 6th 2015: Marriage (with a "real" wedding to follow next year on 7/6/2016)

March 9th 2015: AOS, EAD & AP submitted

September 22nd 2015: Interview

January 14th 2016: Two year Green card received -phew!

ROC

August 8th 2017: 90 day window begins! ROC time!

September 28th 2017: Biometric Appointment in Portland, OR

March 5th 2018: Case received by local office

August 18th 2018: 18 month extension letter mailed

December 2018: Case moved to another office

February 2019: I was emailed that I was approved and my card was in production the same day of my N400 interview 😂

N400

August 8th 2018: Window opens to submit naturalization application

August 13th 2018: N400 Application submitted online 

August 14th 2018: NOA1

September 6th 2018: Biometrics

February 6th 2019: Interview Date! APPROVED!

February 6th 2019: I was asked to return later the same day for my Oath Ceremony! :dance:
