I will send in my I-129F on payday, but before i do i wanted to ask all of you a question? How much proof of relationship did you send in. We have almost 2000 pages of chat logs. I dont want to send all 2000 but i will if i need to.

I believe if you send too many in, they might give some back to you. I was reading about a guy that did that once. I doubt anyone will have so much free time that they can sit around reading our chat logs when they have thousands of cases to work on. The most important thing to have is the proof that you guys met IN PERSON and give a good amount of evidence that you're still communicating now. We have over 40,000 messages on Facebook on my fiance old Facebook and over 20,000 on his new Facebook and numerous messages on WhatsApp but of course I can't send all that. I send it pictures of evidence from each, WhatsApp, Facebook and Skype. I screen shot the thousands of messages at the top so they have an idea of how much we've been talking.

Make sure you have your pictures and just couple pages of conversation from each evidence and you should be fine. Good luck!

My packaged was received today so I guess I'll be getting their notification by next week. This wait is heartbreaking. The process is worth it, but staying away from the person we love is too much. I know we are required to go through this, but to think that we have to defend and justify our relationships to strangers so we can finally marry our loved ones is quite irrational. This forum surely helps. Most people I know have no clue what is like to be apart for so long and how difficult this wait is.... :(

Keep in mind that one day distance wont be between you and your love one anymore :) it will all end one day and i'm keeping fingers cross for all of us, that our love ones can be here by the summer of next year. Good luck and be strong!

We just received the hard copy of NOA1 today. Let the counting begings. And good luck everyone. I hope Obama's announcement about immigration won't affect our petitions.

Didnt get a chance to listen to his speech, but I believe the speech was about how they can take steps to stopping illegal immigrants from crossing the border. I believe we should be ok.

Did you send in the CD with your packet? How did you get proof of 500 skype calls? I just want to make sure i send in enough but not too much.

Yes, we send the CD in the packet..my fiance downloaded our call logs using SkypeLogView..not sure how he did it, but he said it's an app..

Itll never be too much. You rather have more than enough. We sent everything we could think of. Phone bills showed our number, skype, yahoo and viber calls as well as chat log. Hotel and ticket receipts. Ring's receipt. Pictures. Letters and postal. You name it we got it in our package... we use viber now more than a actual phone so we took picture of each phone log after we done. Because viber wont keep our record too long.

Hi Everyone! Just got text/email notice on 11/20 that our package was received. I mailed it out on 11/12 and they received it on 11/17 and my check was cashed on 11/20. Very excited and anxious to get through this process!

Welcome to the gang! :)

Obama's speech is on the main page of USCIS. :D There was nothing discussed about Fiancés. :)

Although it's not to do with Fiances, it could affect us indirectly which I know a lot of people on VJ are concerned about. If the service centres are processing 5 million immigrants will our applications be put on the back burner? What if they take priority? Even if they don't surely the extra work load will slow things up immensely.

I got a question guys, let me know if I'm reading it correctly. Checked my case file on the USCIS site and this was the message I saw:

"On November 20, 2014, we approved your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number WACxxxxxxxxx. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your approval notice by December 20, 2014, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

I don't want to prematurely get my hopes up, but does this mean my NOA2 should be on the way?

Congrats.... when did you filed????????

I filed on the 26 of October then received my NOA1 on October 31st. I know the time went by extremely fast and I was bracing myself for a five month wait. If that's the case then I wish you guys the best of luck!
