Well I have an update! Not so happy but still progress. We got an RFE on the way. Hopefully it will be here first part of next week so we can respond asap. I have no idea what it could be as I followed all the info on the K1 guide and had all the evidence for everything. Hopefully something very minor like a signature or something. I'll post again once I get the RFE and see what we are dealing with. Thanks!

How were you informed that you were getting an RFE? Assume email/text or were you able to check on the website? Not sure what the notification looks like, so if you could provide that would be great :)

Look on the bright side, your package is being evaluated...you're light years ahead of the rest of us it seems. Please let us know what the RFE is in regards to.

Sorry to hear that but like you said at least it's progress and it means someone is looking at your case! Let us know when you get updates and good luck! I'm sure it's only something minor.

June 2013: Met whilst working at a summer camp in Michigan 

K1

November 1st 2014: I-129f submitted for K1 visa

February 24th 2015: Visa in hand!

February 26th 2015: POE at Las Vegas airport, then onwards to Oregon! 

March 6th 2015: Marriage (with a "real" wedding to follow next year on 7/6/2016)

March 9th 2015: AOS, EAD & AP submitted

September 22nd 2015: Interview

January 14th 2016: Two year Green card received -phew!

ROC

August 8th 2017: 90 day window begins! ROC time!

September 28th 2017: Biometric Appointment in Portland, OR

March 5th 2018: Case received by local office

August 18th 2018: 18 month extension letter mailed

December 2018: Case moved to another office

February 2019: I was emailed that I was approved and my card was in production the same day of my N400 interview 😂

N400

August 8th 2018: Window opens to submit naturalization application

August 13th 2018: N400 Application submitted online 

August 14th 2018: NOA1

September 6th 2018: Biometrics

February 6th 2019: Interview Date! APPROVED!

February 6th 2019: I was asked to return later the same day for my Oath Ceremony! :dance:

Thanks for the feedback! It is so good to be able to come here and just talk with people who truly understand what this is like.....

For the notice, I recieved an email and text and then when I logged into to the uscis it had been updated with the status. The actual verbiage is below. I am certainly hoping that whatever it is it is minor. C. will be coming to visit me the whole week after thanksgiving so I am hoping that we will be able to get whatever it is finalized and addressed while she is here. I will certainly post again when we get the RFE. Thanks!

From what I have read throughout the forum, you get your NOA2 pretty soon after you submit the answer to their RFE. So try to be positive, everything will workout great. :yes:

My packaged was received today so I guess I'll be getting their notification by next week. This wait is heartbreaking. The process is worth it, but staying away from the person we love is too much. I know we are required to go through this, but to think that we have to defend and justify our relationships to strangers so we can finally marry our loved ones is quite irrational. This forum surely helps. Most people I know have no clue what is like to be apart for so long and how difficult this wait is.... :(

Hi Everyone! Just got text/email notice on 11/20 that our package was received. I mailed it out on 11/12 and they received it on 11/17 and my check was cashed on 11/20. Very excited and anxious to get through this process!

Has anyone else checked the processing times for TSC? How accurate are they?

March 2014: met while I was on a study abroad trip in Ecuador & kept in contact with each other after I left


August 2014: visit to Ecuador


November 12 2014: sent I-129f


November 17 2014: I-129f received (Texas Service Center)


November 20 2014: received electronic NOA1


November 24 2014: received hard copy NOA1 in mail


December 2014: visited Ecuador again...officially engaged on 12/12/14!


March 2015: visit to Ecuador for Spring Break


June 10, 2015: NOA2 text/email notification

we have over 6000 pages of whatsapp chats..but we only put 77 pages in the package, over 700 hrs of Line calls, over 500 hrs of Skype video calls, hundreds of pictures (we put 15 pictures in the package) and we put the rest in a CD. we also put our phone bills that shows our numbers in the package.

Did you send in the CD with your packet? How did you get proof of 500 skype calls? I just want to make sure i send in enough but not too much.
