Not all oct filers. we were the last ones to get approved so waiting for case complete. Good luck with your visa man.

I really hope I don't end up staying in a hotel for a month waiting for my passport. :wacko:

A friend of mine got his passport back from Montreal, but there was a mistake! :oops:

He had to send his passport back to the Montreal Consulate and it caused a 4-week delay! :cry:

I thought the Montreal Consulate was different (more efficient and reliable) from NVC. :protest:

Nope, there are no good guys in the immigration process! :ranting:

Oh Austin, I am so sorry this is happening to you (both of you). This is just so entirely unfair.

Hey guys I had my interview today at Islamabad ..they investigated me for 3 hours ...at the end they just kept my passport ...but they didnt give me any bluse green or yellow sheet? Pls if anybody knos then tell me if uts good or bad?

what question they asked and investiage about what for three hours

Just got back home from Melbourne and the medical.

Checked CEAC website. Showing Ready. That is very fast. File only left NVC on Sunday night and it is already in Sydney.

I am now going to write my email.

Will report on medical in separate post.

Flew to Melbourne this morning for Medical. Was very nervous and didn't sleep well.

All went smoothly. First went with a Nurse to take stats. Did eye test, drew blood, blood pressure, had to pee in a glass to check for diabetes. Height and weight. Then sent back to waiting area.

Ten minutes later called into Doctors office. She was lovely. Looked me all over plus eyes, nose, ears and throat. Had me jumping up and down on one leg - not sure why - but I guess I had good balance. Didn't have to have any vaccinations, they were all good.

Paid the $518.00, left the office and took children for Mexican food.

Then onto another part of town for the chest x-ray. Took five minutes then back to airport and we are now home.

They are going to courier the results to me on Monday.

What wonderful news to see my file is now Ready at Sydney. Am off to write my email and try for an earlier interview date.

WHAT. How can this happen? Please please let it come tomorrow. Where are they sending it to? The hotel? If so keep a really close eye on Reception for when it arrives.

What poor excuses from the Consulate. Not good enough after everything that you have been through waiting.

omg just got an email from the embassy telling that the visa package is submitted to the courier and also the air waybill tracking number is given!! and also it says it takes 1 to 2 days on average for the package to be available to pick up!!



YAAAYY SOOO EXCITINGGG!!



alright , gonna try today afternoon maybe i could pick it up! :idea::rolleyes:

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

 

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

 

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Hello everyone. Yesterday I had my interview at the US Embassy in Skopje and my Visa was APPROVED!!!!!! :dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing:

CEAC still shows Status Ready with Status Update Date of yesterday.
