I'm still over in the NVC thread waiting for CC sometimes this week or next! Quick question... does anyone know if they are still scheduling interviews for December in London? Trying to figure out which country I'll be in for christmas haha

This is really cool. I have seen this a number of times on the thread. Where did you find this?

MSC, DWheels - I think this might be a little too fast for them. IF MSC13's status is "In Transit", then it is possible, but our file took 4 days to actually leave NVC. Our file took 3 whole days to change to "In Transit" MSC13's interview was only assigned on Monday, and I think it is kind of rare to be assigned and ready for shipment on the same day. I might guess that the Aussie packet contains the December 2nd or December 9th interviews. MSC, as soon as you see "In Transit" on your status, then watch for the Waybills.

But...the GOOD news is that it only takes two days from shipping to receiving in Sydney!

CEAC is still showing at NVC. I was thinking it wouldn't be there until late next week.

You don't need your P4 letter for your medical. Just your SYDxxxxxxxxxx number!

It is not perfect science - this tracking thing. What happens is that NVC "schedules" your case for shipping - and it is assigned a DHL tracking number with the company. BUT...the date the number is assigned is not necessarily the date that your case is physically picked up by DHL. So when you read through this "how to track", you will have to play with dates.

The EXP number is usually dated on the date your package is assigned tracking by NVC. But...because DHL might not physically pick up your package on the date the package is assigned a number, you need to play with the "date range" feature - usually about a 4 working day spread.

And...if you happen to hit a date when a heck of a lot of packages are sent, only the first 10 packages show up. So that is why you might need to put "Australia" in the search engine on the DHL page.

It took me a lot of back and forth - and I think DWheels, expert that she is, finally found the tracking number for me. Start with the date that your status changes from "At NVC" to "In Transit" and go from there, remembering that you'll need to convert back to US Eastern Standard Time to figure out your day.

Hey everybody, I have been quite on this thread and been just reading and learning

I just wanted to say that, I dont know what I would do without visajourney on dealing with the whole visa. And want to say thank you to all of you for the advices, help and information I got and a big thanks on all, who taking care of that website you re doing a great job

Congrats to everybody who got approved and good luck to those with an interview appointment

Also wanted to say that I was able to schedule my interview appointment today, thank god for November 19 I still cant believe I got my appointment in 7 days
