Anybody from Russia in the house? I just found out that I need a russian police certificate (i have dual nationality) how long does it take to obtain one ? I never resided there for more than one month... My interview is on December 2nd ,

Will I be denied the visa if I fail to get it in time

You will get the 221g and pout in SAP until you produce the document. Go to the Russian embassy website and order. Sorry.

i have my interview on dec 22nd at the london embassy...assuming all goes well and i am approved (fingers crossed), will i have the option to pick up the passport from the embassy? or will they only offer courier option?

He just need to pass 125% test... if he is really stressed out then find a joint sponsor.. complete and send another I-864 with backup documents to his wife.. just in case if they ask for joint sponsor ..

That's the thing with his current income he passes that 125% test quite comfortably. His household size is 2, him and his wife, and he makes more than $30k per year so he is well above that 125% test.

As you can see below the poverty guideline, he is well above that. Does anyone think CO can still ask him to find joint sponsor?

I am very sorry about that. My husband lives in Russia and it took us 25 working days to get a Russian police certificate. its free, But on another forum, there have been many people who applied from outside Russia ,people from Ukraine, U.K, France and the time it took each one of them varies some got theirs in 20 working days, some a lot more. you still have enough time since your interview will be in december. Go straight to the Russian embassy in Amman and get it done as soon as possible. If you do not have the certificate during your interview , they will just give you 221g that is all and will put you on AP until you provide them with the certificate, so don't worry. it is well

Yes, he lives with his parents and his parents are not dependent on him. His dad has his own income and he is also independent of his parents and doesn't list anyone else on his tax return as dependent.

Yes they said they are waiting on the schedule for December. So I don't know If that means it will be early December or mid.

Hi all, I had a question for one of my friend he applied for his wife and they have an interview at Islamabad Embassy this month. He is making more than $30K per year and AOS was accepted at NVC without asking for any co-sponsor. Their household size is 2. Is he going to run into an issue at interview that he needs a co-sponsor because he is only making $30K per year. I have attached I864p requirement and he does meet that poverty level for the household of 2.

He doesn't have a profile on visa journey and he seems extremely stress out that is why I am asking on his behalf. Please advise.

Why is he stressed if he exceeds the guidelines. Tell him to relax.
