Hi there

I know, it is crazy isn't it. There is one interview for a Cc on Oct 31st. Perhaps they haven't got to Australia yet and will do it tomorrow or Monday. It does seem weird that all other months were fine but not this one. Mmmm, don't know what to think.

Well. Yes I could do that but it would be good to just have a date first. Fingers crossed I might get an email in the next day plus my other Aussie friends.

This is what mine says as well but this is the CC letter. Now we just need that interview letter!

I wouldn't give up all hope yet. Our case was closed on June 4. We got our interview date on June 10th for July 1st. If I remember correctly, a whole bunch of us Aussie hopefuls got our dates between June 9 and 11 - and all for July dates. There were 5 Tuesdays in July - so it was a good month....

Maybe the Sydney Consulate is still recovering from the Melbourne Cup...I'm sure there were a LOT of sore heads for a few days this week!

Hey everybody, today was my interview at the Mumbai Consulate, India and extremely pleased to say that I have been APPROVED!!! Whole interview process was over in one hour. I will post a detailed experience later. It was a tough interview because we had lots of red flags, which meant lots of questions.

I'm the beneficiary, wife of USC.
12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?
6/19/2014: USCIS case status change, "On June 19, 2014, we shipped this case..."

Congratulations dilmera!! The long awaited journey has finally ended! I'm very happy for you, wishing you a smooth POE!

When are they usually done shipping files to embassy after interviews are scheduled? I see that so far they have shipped files to only few countries.

Online status still shows "At NVC"

They shipped my file about 8-9 days after the interview was scheduled; some countries had it shipped a couple of days after and some even 2-3 weeks after. It varies for each country btw. Don't worry, it'll get there before your interview ;)

You can correct your DS 260 when your document is being checked by the secretary. We corrected ours when we were being called to check our documents, we had to change our address from the old one on the ds 260 to a new address.

Okay, so this is allowed? It's that easy? The most recent address on our DS 260 is our Buenos Aires address, and we've since changed the embassy back in Bogotá and are living with my in-laws in Colombia, but not in Bogotá. I was worried about this, but is it just a matter of changing the address upon arriving to the interview?

Got CC email.

So from reading the thread this morning looks like no more interviews in December. The children are beyond disappointment. Me too. Do we think this is for definite for all embassies.

When will they start scheduling January?

I think Bogotá may be done scheduling for December. I got CC October 30 and still nothing. It's a busy embassy to begin with, and, well, today is November 7. Internet's acting wacky, but if it improves I'll call today and see if they're done scheduling for December. I really hope you get a December interview. You've been dealing with all this for far too long!

Hi Folks, I have a question about the interview letter. The letter states the following, however the website it has mentioned seems non-existent. Any ideas?

Upon receiving this letter, all eligible applicants must prepare for the visa interview by visiting our website

Hi all,

Today my CEAC status changed from "in transit" to "ready." My case took a tour through Europe before I came back to Casablanca.
