Hi guys

I am certainly no expert on this but I am pretty sure I saw on a post somewhere that if you get an interview date email before the CC email is due, seven days after your Case is completed that you never receive a CC email at all. Does that make sense.

Let's see what somebody else has to say.

Yes you are right!!

vsexy, i am on the same boat as you, cc 9.30, interview 12.16, want to move to earlier date.

Could you share the email address, i found the link here http://london.usembassy.gov/niv/visa_contact_form.html, not sure if this is the correct one, also do u mind sharing how long it took london embassy to reply back?

Many thanks.

Hiya,

I think it's best to wait until the embassy has received your documents. I emailed the consulate in London to request an earlier date and they replied back today saying they have not received my documents yet.

So I guess we have to wait for our beloved NVC to send the docs before contacting the embassy.

Gm I am so nervous I got cc on the 31st and I have not received the interview date. I was really hoping for early December I wanted to be with my husband for Christmas plus it will be our anniversary in December.

My ceac status updated date changed to Nov 5. Which means my case file was touched. I wonder what was updated or imputed in my case. Any idea from anyone?

great, that helps a lot...

what documentation did you take to your medical? on the NVC website I see that medical history records are mentioned, did your GP give this to you willingly? or did you obtain via other means?

You only need to take your medical records if you've had a history of illness or surgeries. I haven't luckily (I've only had a couple of minor day surgeries) so they were happy with my word of mouth for this. You do need to get your vaccination records from your GP though (the nurse printed them out for me at a checkup.)

Other than that I just took - passport, passport photo, copy of my interview confirmation letter, police certificate, and the filled in medical questionnaire. Oh, and my credit card!! It's all here though: http://www.visamedicals.info/us-bring.asp
