VISA IN HAND!

2 business days after approval at the interview!

We had selected the $30 home delivery option with DX courier. The packet arrived just a few minutes shy of 11am UK time. Aside from the courier email yesterday, we never received any tracking information by SMS, phone, or email.

Tomorrow will be 14 months to the day that we mailed the I-130 petition.

Congratulations to you and your wife. I bet it feels amazing to have the visa in hand!

Were still waiting for the courier to email us.

Have a great day!

Thanks! I'm not gonna lie: It feels pretty good. :)

BTW, she received the courier email at 11am UK time yesterday. I don't know if they always send them around the same time of the day though. The subject of the email was "U.S. DoS Visa system return travel document shipment notice" and was sent from donotreply@usvisa-info.com.

Edit: The tracking link in the email was of course broken... But from that page you can select tracking, enter your tracking number, select "UK", and enter your post code. By "tracking" they mean it will state the expected day of delivery and then it will state when it has been delivered.

Not at all!

I chose Medicos de Visas because it's the only of the 3 hospitals that schedle appointments.

I went here:

http://www.medicosdevisas.com/reservatucita.php

Filled out the form and chose the date and time, got confirmation email and that was it! Super easy. also Scheduled my biometrics through https://usvisa-info.com/

Super easy too :)

I was done with that about 30 min after I got my interview date hehehe. although it sucks that I have the only business day in that whole week!! (29th of Dec) the consulate or the ASC are not working on the 26th so I ended up having to go on the 23rd for just that.(this is almost a whole week before the interview)

Thinking if I should come back to GDL spend xmas here and just go over the weekend with everything ready for the interview.

anyway, appointments were fast and easy to set up. my only concern and knowing how things some times work in MX .... will they accept the online reservation? I hope so!! I will call to confirm the appointment I think.

Wow! Thanks for all of that great information! That really helps. It might be a good idea to spend Christmas in GDL. It will save you some money from flying back and forth and you can be with your SO. :)

In other good news, I just got off the phone and found out the interview date is DECEMBER 2!!! So happy!
