Good morning everyone!!!! I got my interview date on 10/3014 for 12/15/14 do you guys know about how long does it takes for the embassy to received all documents, I would like to request an earlier interview.

Also am I going to get all the original papers before the interview??

Good Morning/Afternoon everyone -

I just wanted to share with the group that my husband Steve's visa was approved this morning at the US Embassy in London. Our case is now in "Administrative Processing" and the officer said the visa will be ready next week. He's still currently in London with a dead iPhone so he will post his review of his experience in the next day or so. Thank you all for your support and best of luck to you all. Cheers!

thanks for quick reply but can you explain what this update is about pls ?

I have read it earlier on one of the threads that when your file reaches the embassy, consular officer who will be interviewing goes through your file and make notes for himself. That is why you are saying this latest date when your case was updated after consular officer looked at it. I think they also pretty much make their decision in advance whether to approve or put the case in further Administrative processing.

Got my interview date! It's Dec 1st:) good luck everybody!

Dec 1st!? :wow: That's the earliest date you can get! :thumbs:

Just received the courier email. Passport with visa and packet are scheduled to be delivered tomorrow.

Nice! :star: It seems like the London Embassy and Montreal Consulate are fast when it comes to delivering the visa! :yes:

I called NVC today and our interview has been scheduled for 15 December 2014.

10 DAYS UNTIL OUR INTERVIEW AT THE BOGOTA EMBASSY!!!

I got all of our paperwork organized this weekend. I checked and double checked. I have at least 6 inches of folders and paper. I am so scared I am going to be missing ONE document. I hear Bogota is pretty easy going, but the fear is there. Just excited that this "journey" will be ending soon. When I first started I was told 6 to 8 months, 9 months maximum. We will be close to 13 month once the interview is over.

7 DAYS until my interview! :content: I also thought it was going to take 6-11 months.

Well, tomorrow is my 13-month immi-versary! :dead: At least it's almost over! :whistle:

Hi Girl, so happy to see you here too.... I was in sock during a time lol because my case was expedited now I am waiting for my interview, I really hope you could get a December interview too, fingers crossed! I was being ready for my interview and some celebrations that we will have in USA, it will be like my third wedding in USA :P because I got two weddings here in Peru (civil ceremony and religios ceremony) so I am so happy and excited that finally I will be home with my love and his family :)
