I may have already told people. So sorry. I was just very excited for you...

That's okay!:lol::lol: You were probably more excited than I was when I got the visa in hand!:rofl::rofl:

I was feeling drained (but still super happy) from dealing with the Montreal Consulate.:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

MSC13,

When your status changes to "Ready", you'll know that the Sydney Consulate has your file in hand and it's registered. You can fire off your email then!

Sukie

Hi Sukie

Interesting thing is it does say Ready so I sent email last night. They have just replied to say they don't have it yet and email them back next week. Any thoughts?

Ok everyone. Hubby and I have just tracked the package via DHL. It left Cincinatti early this morning, US time. Probably won't be in Oz until Monday. That is OK. I thing CEAC then changes to At Embassy. Is that correct.

At least Sydney Consulate are on the ball. Will email them again once we see it has been delivered.

Hi all! Case complete 11/14, now waiting for our interview to be scheduled in France. I'm posting in the December thread out of wishful thinking but have very little hope of a December interview.

Congrats to all of you for finally making it to this point.

Just to update you all. I had to go back to the London embassy today because they couldn't get my electronic signature on Monday because of a computer glitch. Wasn't happy at all. Got there early and thought they were not going to let me in. Cue tears, panic and calling the missus. But they did. Saw a different CO from Monday who took my prints again and apologised for the inconvenience. Told me they took them electronically to make sure I was a good guy and not a bad guy. I asked could I wait in the embassy until it showed AP and he said take a seat, we'll print it now and it'll be ready in 20 mins. I was in shock. When I was called back, the interviewing CO from Monday was there and told me she had asked if she could give it to me as I was so lovely and so happy when she told me I was approved that I made her day. I'm now in Oxford St. with the Crown Jewels in a Marks and Spencer carrier bag because it's too big to fit in my laptop bag and I'm terrified of bending it or leaving it somewhere. So happy right now I could cry. And it's the first time in my life I've ever been described as lovely :)

Thank you :) now I'm wondering if Teacup got credit for her rescheduling letter and austincanada got kudos for his hatha yoga half shoulder stand, do I get to go in the VJ record books for fastest AP ever? 10 minutes :)

That is absolutely amazing!!! I can't believe they did it there and then :o Just goes to show what speed process they are capable of! ;)

I also vote the credit for Cathy getting her visa in hand the quickest! haha

I am so sorry to hear that :( . I never had that experience

Normally they give form- 221g for submitting something/missing documents etc or approval letter but in your case they did not ask to submit something or not approved..we can assume that they will do some investigation from their side..lets see !!

How did you finally find your passport? Did you just phone the Loomis office and ask if your package had arrived?

Remember this infamous email that I received from the Montreal Consulate on Tuesday?

Good day,

Thank you for your email.

We can confirm that your issued visa has left our office yesterday. We are currently experiencing technical problems and unfortunately, we cannot provide you with a waybill number at this time.

If you have any questions regarding the courier service, you may visit The Department of State has temporarily disabled hyperlinks> or contact CSC by email at contactus_en_CA@usvisa-info.com

Sincerely,

OP14

Immigrant Visa Unit

U.S. Consulate General in Montreal

I probably called Loomis 4-5 times to find out where my passport was. <_<

According to the email from the Montreal Consulate, my passport had left their office on Monday.

According to Loomis, they didn't have my passport on Tuesday! :bonk: Conflicting info! :dead:

Did the Montreal Consulate send my passport without a waybill due to technical problems on Monday? :huh2: NO!

Loomis doesn't accept any package without a waybill number so the Montreal Consulate couldn't have sent off my passport without a waybill number.

It turned out that my passport was still sitting at the Montreal Consulate until Tuesday afternoon! :dead::dead:

My passport did not leave their office on Monday! :bonk::bonk:

So the email from the Montreal Consulate didn't get the dates right! It was their boo-boo (screw-up)!:angry:

I finally received an email from Loomis Tuesday evening with a waybill number.

Well, I sent at least 2 emails to the Montreal Consulate (before receiving the waybill from Loomis) asking where my passport was AND told them that I was having a panic attack!

The Montreal Consulate replied to one of my emails with a waybill number today. <_<

The Montreal Consulate didn't even say "Sorry" (for getting the dates mixed-up).:angry:

Needless to say, I deleted their email since I already had my waybill number (that I got from Loomis).
