This is not a simple RFE . A lawyer needed to be involved . There are mine fields that we as laymen have not a clue.how to handle. As things are in motion you will need to roll with your decision. As I have said in the past ... We folks on this forum jump through hoops to accomplish what is needed.. Tens of thousands of other folks every year do lawfully bring their loved ones into this country. (with the help of a lawyer) ... In the end we wake up to the fact that millions are sent that famous marvin pass. .....Get across the river and feel free to move about the country. In a few years we can have you voting,

My wife came over here legally. I went through the same process as most folks here, the RIGHT way. Don't make this about me when a member is asking for help in getting her husband over here. Leave the personal attacks out of it.

If someone is here illegally, they should be deported or go back home before USICS will even talk to them period .

But that's not the way the law is currently written. It's part of the Immigration and Nationality Act or the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. I forget which and it really doesn't matter unless one want to throw in a dig that it was under Reagan's watch so it's really because of the Republicans. All joking aside, it's the law and has been for quite a while.

It looks like doing this process backwards works better.

Its too much information. That's why I didn't post about my problem.

We told the embassy there was a problem.

Police cert said there was no problem.

Embassy contacted police to ask if there was a problem.

Police contacted us for a bribe.

We told embassy

Embassy told police we told them.

Police got mad.

Recharged my husband with crime even though he was exonerated.

found inadmissible. (we knew this cause he plead guilty) but they also slapped us with mis rep but never told us what we misrep. We told them everything from the beginning. They knew all along.

1. problem. if you go to the embassy with something in confidentiality they should not be able to give out that confidential information. Just like they can't for refugees. If I tell you someone is trying to get a bribe from us or black mail us, why would you tell that person we told you? they know the government over there is corrupt and has a reputation for killing their citizens.

2. problem. what was the misrep?

Under what section of the law was he deemed inadmissible? There should have been an exact section of the law quoted, included the number and letter designation of the law.

Who did the Embassy give the confidential info too, the police? The way I am understanding it, the discrepancy occurred because you brought a clean police report to the Embassy but mentioned an incident on your application. Embassy wants to know why the police report is clean yet you mention an incident. Who can the Embassy question about this besides you and the police? I am assuming that you had to explain this to the Embassy, who then went to the police to see what was going on. I think that would be normal procedure. The police screwed you, IMO. And as far as the bribe, who told you that the Embassy told the police, the Embassy or the police?

I am surprised that if you were denied due to misrepresentation that they didn't include the specific reason and the area of the law that pertained to it.

he is inadmissible for CIMT and mis rep. There was no reason given for the misrep at all. No reason other than misrep and INA 212(a)(6)©(i).

Sure, they could ask about the clean police report, however, they could not tell the police we told them about the bribe. This was confidential information given to them. Just like a refugee file an app saying their government is trying to kill them and then you go and ask the government, hey, do you know Janelle? She said you are trying to kill her. They can't do that.

The police called my husband's cousin screaming about it saying someone came to the police station to ask about it and told them I contacted the embassy about the bribe. Whoever went to the police station told the police every thing my husband told them during the interview.

the embassy screwed up and want us to look like the bad people because of it.

Howdoes your Husband's cousin fit into this?

Who told you that the Embassy told the police about the bribe, an Embassy official or the local police? Who went to the police station, someone from the Embassy? And why in hell would the police contact your husbands cousin and not your husband?

The cousin was involved with the past case. So the police officer contacted him and my husband's cousin live in the area of the police station.

A day later the police lieutenant of that station called my husband into the police station to talk to him. And they told him the embassy came down there as well.

Someone from the embassy went. Who? We don't know. We weren't there. lol

I emailed the embassy about the issue myself and the regional security officer told me he would not talk to us because of pending criminal matters.

Sorry. I'm trying to tell you as much as possible but we are on the outside as well.

I'll try it again. Who who told you the Embassy told the police about the bribe? Did the Embassy tell you or did the police tell you? All I understand from asking this question so far is that the police said someone from the Embassy came to the station and that the Embassy won't discuss the case with you.

I seriously thought I answered this. The police told him the embassy told them about the police officer asking about the bribe. Like a day or 2 after my husband went to the embassy someone from the embassy went to the police station and told them about what my husband said at his 2nd interview with them.
