Does it bother you so much this dude isn't black that you have to go back to STL just to reassure yourself? You're comparing a cop being shot in the arm to a cop being killed and another wounded. But I know why you would, so it's no real surprise.

Around 12:20 a.m., the officer was on I-70 near I-170 when three black male suspects fired shots into his personal car.

The officer was hit by glass and suffered an injury to his arm. Police say the officer did not shoot back. The three suspects fled the scene in a black sedan.

Not an assassination attempt .. I realize just another night in the hood for you.. Out here in real america it is considered an assassination attempt.

Yep, an attempt. That cop gets to go home and see his family. Collect another paycheck. See another sunrise. But the cop that was shot by Eric Frein is dead. He doesn't get another chance. And that wasn't in the hood. So while you all shook about what's going on here, this dude killed a cop and wounded another.

It's a shame for someone to love the 2nd as much as you do and you disrespect this man by comparing his death to an attempt somewhere else because you can't come to grips with the idea that a white person could kill someone with a gun.
