Hello everyone!

Been receiving good news for the past few days and this is overwhelming. Praise God for this. But I have so many questions that I need your assistance on this.

Oct 24, 2014 - Checked USCIS website with our Receipt # and stated that they approved our I-129F Petition for Fiance.

Oct 29, 2014 - Checked the same website and it says there that they shipped our approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing.

Oct 30, 2014 - My fiance received the hard copy of I-797, Notice of Action on the mail.

Well, my first concern is that what's next after receiving this I-797, Notice of Action. I checked the Department of State for visa processing and it shows me STEPS that i need to complete.

Next is, when can we start completing those steps? Do we have to wait for another notification so we can start the first step or we can just proceed right away?

I just want to thank you all for taking your time to read this. Your inputs will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you everyone.

Start gathering the documents now. The USC will need to send documents to you (I-134, supporting docs, proof of ongoing relationship, updated letter of intent, etc) and you will need to gather documents as well (birth certificate, passport, passport pics, etc). Get these documents together now then when you get the letter from from embassy you can get your medical, ds-160, and interviews scheduled.

:guides: easily accessible at the top of the forum page. In particular, review the K1 Flowchart: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1flow

Additionally, check in at the Phil. Regional Forum.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

Wait 2-3 weeks after your approval before calling the NVC to get the MNL case #. Once you get the MNL #, pay your visa at BPI and complete your DS-160. Create an account to ustraveldocs.com/ph so you could check the available dates for interview.

No need to wait for another notice. You should schedule your interview online. Do a pre registration for the medical - refer to St Lukes website.

And of course, gather all documents needed for your medical and interview. :)
